I did have a brief chat with her regarding doing some hygienic work and joinery in the new premises, But not heard back.

It's apparently above a restaurant !!! Southport council doesn't look kindly on this type of venue lol so would be surprised if it comes off.

That council will not give permission for an above board swingers club. So she may be opening another 'similar' premises and running the odd party out of it. The council will soon find out though and it will get shut down.

There was once a club in Liverpool that did just this and was shut down as soon as the council found out that they weren'the just a massage parlour and sauna.

I think it's daft to be honest.. but our surrounding councils just will notry have it! Believe me, we've tried! Lol xx

the restaurant have been running parties there for 12 months for a certain gent and his friends. They have a meal and then swing! Parties weren't regular, but I guess the owners wanna expand into the swinging scene.

If you know them, please tell them to be careful and stay under the radar as the business will be closed down if they are caught. The Liverpool club that was closed had a lingerie shop underneath it and the council had the whole thing shut down. The shop was taken over by new owners in the end, but the club was never given permissions.

If the venue advertises as a club and charges people without permission, they will come unstuck. Please pass this onto them and they can contact me direct if they want and I can talk things through with them xx

Usually fire regs are the problem then it's about 2 years to drag the appeal out. When plannings refused.
