Clubs charges for soft drinks

Following on from the thread about charging for condoms......what do the clubs you visit charge for soft drinks ?

I am really impressed that my favourite club sells all soft drinks/ mixers for £1.

This includes , water, energy drinks and even J2O.

Excellent value for money considering over the weekend I visited a National Trust property and a garden centre where I was charged £1.99 for a !

What does your favourite club charge ?

To be honest we usually just order what we want on a tab and hand the cash over at the end of the night, but I think Chameleons is around that sort of cost.

JayDees don't charge for tea n coffee, I know they used to have some free soft drinks at the bar.

Chams is about 60p for a can of , haven't looked closely at my bar bill recently, which I think is a good price, I think a can of Monster is about £1.50.

I only ever have soft drinks at clubs and don't think I've every been charged anything like the over inflated prices I would pay in a pub.

I know at Townhouse when I've paid my tab at the end of the night I'm always surprised at how cheap the soft drinks are

I think it is "fab" that so many clubs are helping the nominated drivers and also helping people who drink in moderation, to alternate with soft drinks at sensible prices.

Nobody is moaning in this thread......DO I GET A PRIZE ?

Jaydees don't charge for any soft drinks, tea or coffee and there is also a free buffet laid on, all included in the entry price, not many clubs can beat that

Prices for soft drinks/water/tea/coffee all increased from £1 to £1.50 (at all the North West clubs we can think of) at around the same time last year. Sorry if this is the first moan in this thread but can't help but feel a little unhappy at an overnight 50% increase as someone who is nearly always the driver.

I away a drink soft drinks as I drive. I don't mind the increase. A lot of these venues I'm getting in for free or a nominal amount. Typically, at a club, I use all their bdsm equipment and thoroughly make the most of the hot tub and sauna and usually a few towels. The least I can do is be gracious about the cost of their soft drinks. Which are still cheaper than me going to the local coffee shop.

It's all well and good clubs offering complimentary drinks etc. But after all they are a business and personally I think (hope) that clubs that charge for drinks, condoms etc would reinvest more money back into the club.

We go Chams and used to think that the price of drinks and food was resonable however we have noticed that in the last few years the price we pay when we pay our tab as we leave had doubled and find it fairly expensive at times now !

We aren't sure exactly what has increased in price as we have never noticed a price list in the bar area but we have noticed that it depends who sorts ut our bill as to how expensive it is !

Birkenhead/Liverpool

Our soft drinks range from 50p to £2.00 depending on what it is. So a Pint of cordial is 50p right up to J2O which is £2.00..everything else is anywhere in between. We haven't changed our soft drink prices for 6 years.

The soft drink prices work out really well when they are used as mixers. A can of does 2 drinks normally as a mixer so it works out quite reasonable; Our alcohol is REALLY cheap!

Was at Chams on sat night... had about 6 cans of drink and a water, and was about £9.

Chuck in 2 buffets thats laid on and a £33 entry fee, £42 for a night out for 2 people ... great value.

Would cost e more to go to the cinema - and lot less shagging going on there!

Do you really think this is reasonable, considering you also charge pub prices for alcohol! The club has only just done away with yearly membership because everyone were going to other clubs due to prices charged there! Just look at the prices other clubs are charging, don't it make you wonder why the club is always empty now!

I was waiting for your attack since you're quite vocal about how much you dislike La Chambre. Interestingly you posted a review for the place after declaring in a previous review you'd never come back.

I just work there on occasion. I don't decide the pricing structure.

And yes I personally think it's reasonable. It's on par with the prices in Sheffield city centre.

Numbers are consistently in the region of 20-25 couples on Friday and Saturday nights but thanks for your concern.

I wont be discussing details regarding this any further as this isn't the thread for it. We'll agree to disagree and take each other's opinion as valid.
