Hi everyone. We were interested in going to a swingers club in or near Surrey (not sure which) but have never been to one before. It sounds really noobish but we were wondering about the club protocols including getting into one, what are the rules and what are they like on the inside. Do they resemble pubs, working men's clubs or something else?

Any tips gratefully received.

I suspect they are all different, and to differing tastes. I can think of one where I've heard three very different takes on it!

Also varies daytime to even which evening. Take a long look through the club reviews.

I can recommend kestrels - very chill, very friendly and like a spa. It may be a gamble - daytime can be anywhere between quiet or busy - but will be a safe bet entry.

would be a good choice for you as its their bi night.

Kestrels is a naturist spa during the day, so towels or robes only, has a lovely heated pool and hot tubs etc

AbFabs is at the same venue but at 6pm they open up more of it for the evening. If you go in for Kestrels you can stay on for free. So 10.30 am till midnight for £30 as a couple. Bargain

We're probably going to be looking at going to a club on a Saturday, purely for child care reasons, so are clubs pretty much the same each day of the week?

Saturdays are almost always couples and single females only, perhaps a limited supply of well known single guys in a few clubs. Not generally good nights for bi male play.

Very dressed up and party/disco atmosphere with average 9pm starts. means one of you stays sober and drives home late or you book a nearby hotel.

Ah ha, now this is the kind of information we lack that makes us so nervous about going to clubs. Dress code. Footwear code. And if you are lucky enough to hit it off with others do you play on site or leave for elsewhere?

There are a number of possibilities from open rooms to locked rooms. No means no and in our experience people respect your wishes and there's no pressure to play.

There is advice on the website about dress code.

As was mentioned earlier on in this thread Kestrels is probably an ideal place for you to start. Pretty friendly place and you will see soon enough where the fun happens.

Kestrels has the dungeon which is often a naughty place to be but there are a number of rooms (some lockable and private some open and viewable) that you can play in when you find someone you connect with. And occasionally some just can't wait or be bothered and they get on with it right where they are. It's a fabulous place
