I just tried to book Abfabs for this Friday and it is fully booked now don't get me wrong how can an event for friday be fully booked already

Because it's busy and you're able to book in advance.

As I understand it, AbFabs bases the number of single male places for a given night on how many couples and single women have pre-booked. Get yourself on the reserve list - as more couples and women book, more single male places will become available. Some single men may cancel as well.

Tbh I can understand that they do that but at 1pm on a Monday for the following Friday to already be fully booked is a bit odd that's all

you're a single guy remember, swinging is mostly couples and women they are the preferred guests just saying

Advance booking starts a lot longer than 5 days. And as someone else said its a portion of single guys to women and couples if none have booked yet and the ratio was 5/1 then that'd be 5 guys sold out.

And without their limits on the ratio of single guys to couples, even fewer couples would go and there would be no fun at all!

You got to limit the single guys ...

To many singles guys and your just have a bloke night .

Maybe we need a page like facebook that states who going to an advent

And this way you can all see what's on offer

I don't mind that there is a ratio on single guys and,I actually prefer it I was just surprised that it was sold out by Monday lunchtime

I didn't realise you could pre book before Monday on the waiting list. Maybe that was my lack of understanding on my part

Just have to wait now to see if I can go on Friday

To clarify why I prefer a ratio on single guys.....to many single guys would put the couples and single females off, also it does improve my chance of chatting to someone

I have often only joined the waiting list on a Friday afternoon and have always recieved a phone call allowing me to come due to cancellations etc. I think you'd be very unlucky not to end up going.

You have to book at 9am on a Monday as soon as it opens by 10/11 it's full I don't go on Friday anymore to many sleezy pushy guys

I'm a regular at Kestrels and Abfabs. I know that Fridays are very popular with single guys as there are only limited places and it's a great night. Don't be downhearted just keep trying on other occasions. Earlier on Monday is your best bet....R
