Hi we're going out on a Friday night and want somewhere in 50 mile radius of Barnet that does not have a bi/TV night (just not our thing),looking for just a regular Couples/singles night. ..any ideas?

That's a tough one, am afraid. As much as I crave to join the club scene; I can hardly find one which isn't mixed.

Am neither generic nor homophobic.

Can I suggest The Vanilla Alternative on the A1 just north of London. In January, apart from the 8th, Friday nights cater for couples and singles, and are generally well attended. This is an upmarket club with massive hot tub and 12 on-site hotel rooms if people want to stay over.

In future months it will only be the first Friday of the month that will be a bi-night. For further details, check on the 'What's On' calendar on the club's website.

Hi,thanks for replies, yes VA was our initial choice but it's the 8th we're going (typical!)...have found Pleasures in Kent which looks okay and appears to have good reviews but that's it! OP4FUN is good on a Friday night, we go often but wanted to try somewhere else. ...looks like we'll be heading there
