Just curious as to what is the main preference for the majority of guys when they are in a club. Naked, towel or shorts?

Fully clothed in most I think.

Nakedness only permitted in naked areas - private/play/hottub/sauna/rooms mostly.

It totally depends on the club and their dress codes, some are dress up some may be dress down

We like the VA, smart clothes in the bar area, naked in the hot tub, then a towel to walk around in the play areas, and of course naked for fucking

But you dont have to do it that way.

I would wear my best silk smoking jacket and a nice pair of comfortable slacks. Also a gold plated codpiece to control my surging tumescent manhood.

I tend to go in smart attire then towel or boxers if we are going to have some fun.

The ladies dress up so it only seems fair to at least try to be a bit smart.
