There's been much discussion recently about guys wandering around clubs.

What do women and couples do?

Do you stay in the bar? Wander around? Do you chat to people, or wait for people to approach you?

These days I only go to clubs for arranged meets - not into voyeurism of going to socialize or just hoping to pull...

Drink at bar, wander around see if there's anyone playing that take our fancy, play, have drink, walk around see what's happening, jacuzzi, drink at bar, chit chat to friends or strangers. Chat to bar staff. I must point out that I only go with other half and never alone.

Sometimes quite bit walking around to see who's playing where.

I can find it quite awkward to ask if they want to play. What I want to say "God your gorgeous can I fuck you please". But actually too scared of rejection!

We have a wander and talk to anybody and everybody. Normally I'll tie Mrs into a rope corset or a harness if some sort, the ropes are normally a pretty good conversation starter. We don't really drink so don't do much of that, then I'll usually do a bit of public flogging and then sex.

When I have been as a couple we normally chill at the bar, then have a little wonder around.

I like a well known club in bury that has an excellent wet area, we have spent lots of time chilling out in that. The nakedness and close proximity to other people helps the chances of naughty fun.

Some times we will go into the couples play room and see what's happening in there, if it's quite we will just have our own naughty fun.

Just chill at the bar, have a drink and relax. Some of my best experiences have come about, where a couple have come to bar for a drink and some down time, we've got chatting, had a few laughs and I've then been invited to join them in one of the private rooms!!

We tend to just have a drink and see what happens. If someone good comes along great, otherwise we will hit the jacuzzi/play area on our own. Last couple if times we have had to fend off desperate chancers though but that's our fault for not picking the right night. X

I go as I love the social side and dressing up/wearing what I like without being judged! I have a large circle of friends who also go! We chat, we laugh, we dance! I love meeting new people and will speak to anyone! I rarely play at a club; neither do I go with the mindset I will! That said, I have been known to from time to time

We soak and socialise in the hot tub... Maybe chat at the bar...normally disappear off for some private fun... And then we will just wander about and talk to people. See what's going on..

Well I normally go in say hello to the staff that I know. Have a bit of banter. Sometimes I will strike up conversation with people at the bar. My accent confuses a few people as it is a northern club and I have a cockney accent lol

It is rare I will ask them if they would like to play, if they say they are going for a wander upstairs then I might say do you mind if I join you, sometimes I will wait to be invited

Sometimes I will go upstairs, have a wander normally watch some porn have a play with myself and see if anyone joins in

I like to start off with a cup of tea and some polite conversation. Sometimes a sauna, sometimes a massage. When I am ready to play I can be quite direct about it with single men and single ladies but I find it hard to strike up a conversation with couples. I always worry that I am interrupting their own specal time. So if it's mainly couples I wander about to see what is happening.

When I go with my husband we spend a bit longer in the bar area or watching the play in the open areas. When we sit together less people approach us, maybe they are worried they might be interrupting our special time????

So usually people watch over a drink then go to the hot tub to see who's there....watch a lot and always want to ask to join in but chicken out

We tend to hang around the bar and lounge area and move about to talk to people as we have been to the same clubs a number of times we often see familiar faces so will go over and say hello or just strike up conversation with new people. Every so often we will have a wander round the club depending on the facilities of the club we will go in the jacuzzi or sauna and maybe into a playroom. It all depends on the crowd and the club what we get up to.

Depends on the club. If it's chams we go get changed then generally sit at the bar, chat to staff have a laugh. Chat to other people in the bar area. Then either go off and play with them or make our way to one of the playrooms or jacuzzi

If it's xtasia or libs, generally have a drink and a dance and chat in the bar area before getting changed and head to the play areas

I find most people are very friendly and chatty at swingers' clubs, much more so than at normal clubs, that's one of the things I enjoy about them. Everyone's in a good mood and up for fun, makes for a good night out whether you play or not!

Very good point. But then why can't more couples show a bit of empathy for the guys? It can be nerve wracking for single folk in a club. As someone else said, they don't like to interrupt couples if it looks like they are having some special time. Perhaps the guys are the same. They are shy and don't know what to say. Or they don't want to interrupt a couple and are being polite waiting to be spoken to.

There's two sides to it. If both sides don't speak it will just stay the same.

A smile works great as a start.

Have a drink, jump in the hot tub, chat ( talk a load of bollocks usually), more drink, dance, chat. Watch people in their dressed down gear.

Only tend to play if I have gone with someone unless a very special person catches my eye.

Going to a club is as much a social activity as anything for me. I am not a huntress.

Agreed. Most guys use common sense and have decent social skills. What we have found over the years though is that they are getting more nervous about approaching couples that are playing in open rooms. That seems to be directly related to the bashing they get on every swingers site we've been on, especially where people are saying a gentle exploratory touch is sexual assault. We expect to be touched in that way and have the nouse to say no politely if we don't want them without anyone's feelings being hurt.

We are crap in clubs. We are both quite shy, and quite picky and are crap at making a move and striking up a conversation. People don't tend to want to talk to us either. Although we love the club environment, we can't "pull" there, so instead we now only go to clubs if we have a pre-arranged meet.

Agree with this but it's interesting to see _rightonsteve's surprise that couples find it difficult. I think we find it difficult if we haven't arranged a meet to ask someone to go to a room and play with us, me more than my wife I think. Also there's that thing about I fancy the female but can't guess whether my wife fancies the male etc.

We almost seem to have two club "lives"; great meets with sexy people or lots of chats with couples we like followed by us going to a room on our own or going to the couples room but not swapping (although of course there are the odd times where we play with someone in the couples room we never spoke to in the lounge). Hoping for a different experience in the jacuzzi when we go to Chams. Him

That is a very good point - it's sometimes easier to talk at a bar than approach a couple and sit down and chat to them - well is for me.

go in - go to the bar and see who is in that we know - have a catch up with friends - wander about to see whats happening where and then go with the flow - standing by the bar is a good place to start chatting to people

Good points have been made already about this. As a single guy I am amazed how many couples say they are shy. Im usually terrified of approaching a couple (or single female) As has been said a smile from the female might encourage me to say hi, but my easiest is when a female smiiled, closely followed by a hello from her partner. This quickly turned into chat with both of them and led to some great fun. Id love to compliment the fem, but that might upset her partner! I could say to the male how good his partner looks but that smacks of male chauvinism!

From a couples point of view, what is the best way for a single gent to approach you!?

It is rare I will ask them if they would like to play, if they say they are going for a wander upstairs then I might say do you mind if I join you, sometimes I will wait to be invited

Sometimes I will go upstairs, have a wander normally watch some porn have a play with myself and see if anyone joins in

The accent didnt bother me .... The red shirt however

We tend to sit down together and relax first after a usually long journey to get there.

We do look around and make an agreement on who we like. If no one has started chatting we'll try to strike up a conversation.

If no one appeals or we are not their type then we will go and start some fun on our own.

Personally I hate it when guys talk to Clarence about me, either complimenting me but to him 'your wife is gorgeous' or 'would she like to play' I mich prefer to be treated like I am actually there lol!

If I smile at a guy I like if he smiles back I'd say hi and then we would both chat to him xx

If it's not in a play area then Usually just make conversation "hey both, wow it's hot in here tonight!"

Could be anything you'll soon know in a few seconds if they are Intrested.

If a couple is playing - take note of what others do if you weren't there at the start. Nothing is more annoying than telling the 5th guy we are just enjoying each other, your welcome to watch / wank whatever but we're not playing with others.

Or get in close... Kate would take this as they were Intrested if she is she'll reach out and touch them. And it goes from there.

Just read body language. People are usually pretty obvious. I have seen it though where some have needed to be threatened before they stop advancing. Which ruins it for everyone.

Haha we did have a young cute single fem more or less say that to us once.

It was at the end of the night and she approached me and said "I want to fuck you and your missus".

Caught off guard, I said "ok, I'll speak with the MD".

Typically we have a bit of a social first, but didn't even catch her name. A spontaneous moment and plenty of smiles later.

So try your luck....you just never know

If we were in the market for having a guy join us she'd smile and let him carry on.

If not she just smiles and shakes her head slowly or I'll just gently touch is hand and say "just us for now" or something like that.

Usually eye contact and head shake is enough.
