Myself and Rach are going to take the plunge and visit a club, most probably the townhouse. Great reviews and local ish for us. Question is, with never having been to one, we have no idea of the etiquette or what night to go on etc.

any pointers? We are both very open minded and Rach has already said she's up

For trying anything if she feels relaxed.

I guess the best advice I can give is, go with an open mind, expect the unexpected, remember its fun & go in there with a flourish, a smile and be yourself... You'll see things you never though people would do in public let alone enjoy, so just go with it & remember the old saying about 'when in Rome'..

Our advice be to definitely go. Socialise as much as you can. Watch everything, then talk about it afterwards and decide what direction you want to go in on your next visit. We love clubs but they don't suit everyone. Then if you are both on the same page go for it next time.

This is really great advice. Cant improve on it.

STOKE-ON-TRENT

Just try to relax, chat to people, depending on the club you can dance. Once you get to know people then just see what happens.

We get lots of new couples every week at Townhouse and there are obviously lots of questions, so we have put together a cracking blog which will answer lots of your concerns and more. The link to our blog is on our profile and although it's something that I have put together for visitors to Townhouse, it is relevant to any club you may choose to go to.

To answer your question on best night at our club, I would say a Saturday as it's always busy and we get a good mix of people.

As a swinger, the best advice I can give you is communicate with each other. Chat before you visit to discuss personal fantasies as well as what you could experience as a couple. Chat during the night, look out for one another and take baby steps. Lastly, chat afterwards and talk about what worked and what didn't.

This sounds almost analytical but it's not, it's actually really horny and you will probably find that all this chatting will enhance your experiences and make for excellent sex between you both at home!!

At the end of the day, you walk into a club as a couple and we want you to walk out as a couple and not be arguing! So communication is the key!

Good luck guys and hopefully we will get to meet you at the club sometime.

Happy swinging! xxx

Great advice above find a club you think youll be most comfortable with think first thing is dress down club or not do you have to strip down straight away and would you be comfortable. Then what kind of night do you want really busy Saturday or quiet introduction do you want lots of single men there they can be a bit intimidating till you find your feet. Couples nights can be easier to start. And talk talk talk before and after also the biggest mistake people make is getting nervous and having to much to drink that is when things happen that shouldn't and you fall out.

Good advice there! We've visited a number of clubs and have yet to "dip are toe's". On our last visit, my partner drank too much and passed out!
