Hi,

I recently became a member of chams Darlaston and wondered what days or evenings are good to attend ?

I'm free midweek so anytime is fine for me

I'm looking for females, couples and perhaps group fun

Single men seem to do very well on Fridays and Sundays

It's open all week (excluding couples night on Saturdays) Friday's can be good although a little too busy sometimes.

I went as a guest midweek. It was dead, very dead, barely a soul there except one or two exclusive couples and a bunch of sad single male gits like myself who were bored stupid.

Yes but getting membership as a single man is nigh on impossible and going a guest is prohibitively expensive to make it a regular visit.

If I met someone in there and we got along well I'd be happy to go in as a couple with them. The issue is getting men to actually go in the first place.

I suppose it's just simple market forces. They hike the prices for single men to those of an exclusive golf club to keep the volume of single men down but the consequence is that you will see the same old single men week after week who can afford membership to exclusive golf clubs.

whenever I've been on Fridays there's been loads of single guys, too many from my point of view!

Surely you've not had an issue in there, it's finding single woman that's way harder for me in there, which is why more recently I've gone with someone rather than on my own

I know Townhouse club does new member intro sessions, not sure if Chams could do similar. We go weekday daytimes and quiet ish but the time/day suits us and we never struggle with having a choice of nice single guys to play with. The only evening we went (a Thursday) was really quiet, so sounds a bit of sublime/ridiculous as Friday sounds the opposite. Good luck whenever you visit, OP, and perhaps you can answer the question everyone has asked of "how long did it take to get membership"!

It's been quite a long time, probably a year and I've been going as a guest regularly with a couple, so my face became recognised.

Not a cheap way to gain membership but worth it for me-I hope ?

Very friendly & good atmosphere, just watch out for the odd few single guys following you round & making smutty comments, gets annoying x enjoy x

Yes perhaps a bit of a cull of some of the singles who don't deserve membership will open up some places for some decent single guys, there are some great single guys we met there, but there are equally some who probably not far off the sex offenders list.

I actually find men in there very respectful, it's very rare that I have to say no, they tend to steer clear unless you show interest. Maybe I'm just a minger or scary lol.

Either way, I find chams relaxing and fun.
