Vanilla Alternative on Friday nights

Hi All

We are hoping to head to VA on a Friday night in a few week's time.

We are going with a very open mind - maybe we will play with another couple, maybe try MMF with a guy, maybe just play together - we will see.

But as we have not tried a club on a Friday night when single guys are invited we are interested to know what to expect.

Is the atmosphere different to a couples-only night (we have a small amount of experience of this!)? Do couples play with couples or are most of the couples there for MMF play with the guys? What is the ratio of guys to couples? What ages does VA attract?

Any thoughts on all this would be much appreciated.

As a regular Friday night visitor to VA's I hope I can help.

Every Friday seems to attract an almost completely different mix of people although they generally are all good fun.

At VA's there is only a maximum of 10 single guys on a Friday night and they all have to pre-book. Many are regular club visitors, very respectful, and there to have fun.

The atmosphere is very similar to that on a Saturday night when it's couples and single ladies only.

On Fridays, couples still do play with couples but also with single guys if that's what they want.

Apart from the single guys and people staying in the 12 onsite hotel rooms, the club never knows who else is going to attend but as an example, last Friday there were 15 couples and 10 single guys.

VA's attracts people of all ages and especially those in their mid 20's to mid 30's.

We have only been on a Friday and have enjoyed a couple play and a mmf. Males always seem respectable and polite and we haven't had a problem. Staff are lovely and will show you around and always there is you have any problems x

Well the last time we went was a Friday night we went to play alone and was joined by 4 or 5 guys non of which had taken any time to even say hi at bar or anywhere else lol and when we asked them to leave they had the cheek to ask if we were sure more than once hubby flipped his top not wanted to go back as of yet

OP I shall be there tonight. Personally I've never liked the idea of just 'diving in' and hope to chat to people tonight before some play, it's always more fun if you've made 'contact' on a personal level first. As for behaviour, well I for one can't stand poor etiquette and wouldn't go to VA if it was tolerated.

We tend to only go on a Friday, as it gives us the choice Singles or Couples, each Friday is completely different sometimes it is 10 Guys other times just 3 or 4, You can never tell.

But what we will say everyone is very respectful and no one is pestered.

Don't leave these Guys just standing on their own in the bar, engage with everyone, We are all there to have a good time.

Why didn't you come and speak to us? This is not behaviour accepted in the club and is highly unusual, we never have a pack mentality
