Very little in the city centres but lots in the surrounding area. If you have transport and are willing to drive 30 minutes or so we could give you quite a few.

The wife and I were there last week and tried Saskia Farrell - which was great.

Fkk living room wouldn't let us in - no wives apparently.

Will be going back in February - any other guidance / club suggestions.

Here we very much enjoy the private club in Birmingham- any ideas along those lines we would be great full

Die Eule (The Owl) is a very good club with a hotel attached so you can stay on site and is quite close to the airport. It is couples only so if that is your thing then you should enjoy it, but if you like some single guy action then it isn't really the right place.

The SF lounge (Saskia Farrel) is at Kaarst just to the west of the city. We've not tried it yet but from what we hear locally it is quite good for single guys and couples who like to find them. Saskia herself is a German porn star and we are told she regularly joins in the action. Check her out on xhamster for an idea.

We don't know the FKK living room mentioned above but the "no wives" rule would tell me that it is more likely a brothel.

Two of the clubs we regularly use are a little further afield but not too far if you have transport. To the north east of Dusseldorf there is Caesars Palace at Sprockhovel and the Steinenhaus (Stonehouse) at Hattingen. Both are large top class clubs and single guy friendly although both have couples only rooms.

Caesars Palace is a true 5 star club. On some things (especially the outdoor pool area) we would score it even higher than Fun4two. It is on 3 floors with the main play area on the top floor. A bit more expensive than some (couples 70€ single guys 110€) but it is all inclusive with free bar and an excellent hot/cold buffet.

At the moment it is only open on Saturdays but during the summer months it also opens Sunday afternoons and gets very busy on warm sunny days

The Stonehouse tends to attract a few more singles mainly down to price (couples 45€ singles 60€ on a Saturday but cheaper midweek) it is also all inclusive with free bar and hot/cold buffet The bar area is quite small but it probably has the better play areas (including dungeon)

One of our all-time favourite clubs is about 40 minutes drive from Düsseldorf. The Blue Heaven in Gelsenkirchen. Even the barman was blissfully hunky, in a bow tie and satin boxers!

i.e. a club 50km out in the sticks isn't really an option if someone needs to get back to a hotel in the city centre by bus in the dead of night is it?

I know Hamburg has some clubs in the suburbs accessible by S Bahn or U Bahn, doesn't Cologne or Dusseldorf?

I've been out of action for a while so I've only just seen this.

The short answer to the question is no.

Swinger clubs are quite rare in German city centre's. Most are either well out in the suburbs or in small towns or villages.

A good example would be to compare Dusseldorf to Ennepe Ruhr Kreis (yes I know you've never heard of it) which is a collection of small towns and villages to the north east of the city.

While the major city has no clubs whatsoever, the rural area has five including two which would be genuinely classed as five star.

The closest clubs to the centre of Dusseldorf are Die Eule (The Owl) which is at Rattingen (near the airport) and Farrel Lounge at Kaarst. Both are impossible to reach from the city on public transport other than a very expensive taxi ride.

There are no clubs at all in Cologne. The closest would be at Leverkusen (Club Tiffany) or Langenfeld (Club Bijou) however both are small and, from what we hear, not very well attended.

Other big cities in our area also have little or nothing.

It should be remembered that German clubs cater for the German market and the Germans will think nothing of driving an hour or more to go to a club. Tourists are rarely if ever a target.

Whether it is the right club for a single fem would depend on what you are looking for.

While single guys are allowed it is quite expensive (110€

) for them so the numbers can be quite limited. However if you are looking for just an erotic night out with good food, free bar, and the chance (but not guarantee) of some fun then you will not be disappointed, and for a single fem it is good value at 20€. Bear in mind that Caesars is now only open on Saturday nights.

In the same area is the "Steinenhaus" (Stonehouse) at Hattingen. The club is of similar standard to Caesars and is open 7 days a week and tends to get more single guys and it can be a lot more action packed.

Again hot and cold buffet (excellent BTW) and free bar is included. Price can vary depending on the event but average at weekend is single fem 20€ couple 50€ and single guy 60€.

A smaller club in the area that is well known for full on action is "Dream Heaven" at Wulfrath which is a little bit closer to Dusseldorf city. If you want full on gang bang style check their website for their HU (Herrenubershuss) parties. It loosely translates to "Mr Surplus" and needless to say there are lots of guys. Prices again vary from event to event but are similar to the Stonehouse.

Hmm ok so my thoughts and experiences of Die Eule in Düsseldorf today. They're only open weds Friday and Saturday and only for couples and single ladies, no single guys allowed. Entrance is 100 euros per couple of 25 euros for a single girl. Price sounds a lot compared to U.K. But includes all drinks and an excellent all you can eat buffet so the price is good.

The pool was cold, they have no jacuzzi and the sauna was cold (they didn't tell me I need to ask 10 mins before I want to use it). I arrived at 6.30 and it closes at 8 so didn't have long.

As I went to get changed to leave, the guy of a couple grabbed my boob as I passed him. I walked back out to ask what their rules are, just in case it's the type of place that tolerate that kind of disrespect. No they don't! The owner was there and asked me to point the guy out - not hard as they were the last couple left.

He went mad at him. Had he not apologised he'd have never been allowed at the club again but he did but the owner will always be doubtful and watch him on any future visits - the couple have been going 15 years so they bloody should know better!

Nice club and touching happens everywhere but it's good to see a club deal with a consent violations so firmly. He's asked me to email him if I'm going back and I'll be his guest. We then went on to chat about S&M as he's a dom with 6-8 subs and a sadist. Top bloke! Glad he was there when I asked what their rules were.

Bloody hell! This thread is really from the dark ages.

Just to update. Die Eule is now closed and I very much doubt that it will re-open.

Dream Heaven is now called 1st Floor. We've not been since it changed but have been told it has gone upmarket, along with the price.

Steinenhaus and Farrel Lounge (AKA SF Lounge) are still open, as is Caesars Palace on Saturday's.

We've started seeing events advertised for Beachclub Cologne but they seem to be a bit ad hoc so not sure if it is a permanent club or just an event organiser.

If you can drive for 40 minutes to an hour there are quite a few others in the General area.
