The former I do if their profile says something objectionable to me, or if I won't meet them (as well as those who write crazy messages to me, but to be honest they normally get a scathing reply first). In terms of forum posters, I found out early that if someone is very vocal, they can pm you with some nasty comments, so I block so I dont have to see that in my mail box ... does not prevent all, as some people lurk and send rude messages about forum posts. So, if someone blocks you, I would just assume they dont want to meet or dont agree and don't want any personal conversation with you on any level. Nothing personal. Myself, I have not blocked you, not sure if I am allowed to say that on the forums, so apologies if I am not allowed to ... but certainly I block people because of what they say on their profiles and because of forum posts. The former I do if their profile says something objectionable to me, or if I won't meet them (as well as those who write crazy messages to me, but to be honest they normally get a scathing reply first). In terms of forum posters, I found out early that if someone is very vocal, they can pm you with some nasty comments, so I block so I dont have to see that in my mail box ... does not prevent all, as some people lurk and send rude messages about forum posts.
