So, I'm planning a mini-city break with the missus at the end of September (after payday) and thought it'll be the perfect opportunity to realise one of our shared fantasies of me sharing her with two or more other guys, or even with some couples.

We're looking for suggestions of a club, and a city, to visit. Anywhere in the UK is fine, we're looking for a holiday, so it doesn't need to be/shouldn't be too local

It's going to be both of our first time swinging, and in a swinging club, so wondered if anybody could make a suggestion of where would be good, welcoming, busy with plenty of choice of sexy, young couples, and that she won't feel too self conscious.

Also, if it's a nice city with other things to do during the days, that'd be a bonus!!!

Where is the best of the best for our first?

Do you think you guys are ready to take the plunge? It's not as easy as you might think to watch your partner with someone else if you've never experienced it before. I've seen many couples argue and even fight in a club because they didn't know how tough it was gonna be. I'm not trying to put you off but have you set yourself guidelines before you go??

I think we are, but that's some valuable suggestions, so I guess we'll talk about setting some boundaries and guidelines over the coming weeks. Thanks for the concern.

I figure that if we decide we're not comfortable, we can always just leave too?

Although not city based, one consideration could be The Vanilla Alternative on the A1 just outside Bedford, although it would have to be on a Friday night when a limited number of single guys are in.

It's an upmarket club with a massive hot tub and 12 on-site hotel rooms. Lots of first timers make this their initial club venue and most have no hesitation of joining in with all the fun although it's very important to take things at your own pace without any pressure from anyone.

With London also within easy reach, there are plenty of other attractions that may be of interest.

The club attracts people of all ages but as with any swingers club, it's impossible to know who will visit on any particular evening.

Most definitely. I'm an advocate for clubs, I love em and there's no pressure to play either. Manchester might be good for you. There are several clubs in a 30 mile radius. Can always check a couple of them out then if one doesn't suit you. That goes for Blackpool too, could try more then one club and see which one you prefer X

I'd looked at the Vanilla place in Bedford too, at first I liked the idea of on-site hotel, but I think maybe the option to leave and go back to a seperate hotel might be better in case we decide it's not for us - might be awkward if we're staying @ the club!!

I'm sure what ever I suggest others with disagree with. I would recommend a non dress down club for your first visit. This will ease you in gently. Although cupids is a fantasic club you do need to dress down as soon as you enter. Decadence is a small inviting club that has no ruling of dressing down in the communal areas. It really is a tough one because it all depends on what you are looking for. Partners has the best wet area going and Amour is right in the town centre. I wouldn't be concerned about staying over in a club. From my experience the rooms are completely separate from the club and if you are uncomfortable in the club, you are set away from it in your rooms. Haven't been to VA so cannot comment on their rooms but the few places I've stayed in have had completely separate accommodation.

Try Club Atlantis Evolution in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.

Think chic, sophisticated nightclub but with swinging going on !

Very friendly and maybe easier for newbies as it is more like a normal nighclub.

Depends what you are looking for in terms of couples only or single guys.

A large wet area. No wet area. Fetish night or nightclub feel.

But I agree with above setting limits and boundaries before you go will help.

If she starts snogging a guy at the bar and thats not something that you wanted but she had no idea it was off limits that's when arguments start.

I've chatted to people who in their bedroom have roleplayed cuckolding. So when they went to the club he freaked out when she started doing it at the club. All due to a lack of communication.

At the end of the night you can discuss all the things you wish you had done and then it can build for next time.

We started of with loads of rules, less now but having that safety net for the first time gives confidence and trust.

Xtasia in West Brom might be a good choice, don't have to dress down. It's a big nightclub and also has the premier inn more or less next door. We had a weekend away there for their phukt event at the end of may.

Spend the weekend at Eureka. Book a cabin to stay in. Relax by the pool during the day and party the nights away. They do a lovely cooked breakfast and food during the day.
