We're going for sure... Can't wait should be an awesome event. There's quite a few of us going from up North - Leeds / Manchester area so should be a blast... Sounds very exciting and love the idea of the luxury tents, roll on September.

Howdy!

Included in your Festival Ticket price is a 7x7 metre camping pitch. Here you can pitch your tent, caravan, motorhome or RV.

All camping pitches are numbered and all festival goers are issued with a Camping Field map. So, finding your own tent or the tent of newly acquainted friends, will not be a bother.

Serviced Showers and Toilets are located around the camping fields and festival site.

If you don't fancy pitching your own tent or driving the motorhome up, we have Glamping Tents available for hire in our Glamping Village.

Full details on the festival, tickets, accommodation and location are on the festival website.

Please google '_ffrenata lifestyle festival' to find our website (we're not allowed to give our website address on fabswingers).

Hotel Rooms can be reserved for £14+ booking fee, you can then cancel anytime up until Tuesday 1 September.

We have looked at the website but can't quite figure out the entertainment still. Can't figure if its in with the £200 ticket, or if you only see the headline acts for £50 per person per night, so another £200, or if there is public entertainment other than just a disco and amateur dj?

So can't quite figure what we get for our money?

Just received a private message from Shybloke who wanted to clarify his message

He certainly didn't intend to come across as someone who was complaining about what the BMFC are bringing to EFFRENATA

He rightly pointed out that there will be ALL races at this festival and that some people may get the impression that the main/only attraction is the BMFC tent

Point taken

Thankfully the world is made up of different people and I am sure that we will have a great cross section amongst our Festival Goers!!

Thank you for raising this point, it's also come up over the weekend whilst at the VA. We're working on the festival website to make this and ticket options more clear, changes will be complete and live by Thursday.

Club Decadence of London have now joined Mr & Mrs Ramplings performance in The Secret Garden.

Daniel Decadence will spin re-mixes of classic house tunes while his head dom and slaves entertain you. Club Decadence will also bring along their dungeon.

Back from Cap D'agde (bloody exhausting but amazing!) and Effrenata is my next adventure! Time I sorted my accommodation. What's everyone else doing? Think I'm torn between the bell tent and the hotel - if I haven't already left it too late! X"

I've gone for the bluebelle, didn't fancy the travel between the hotel and site and it's nice to be on site, far more sociable I think? It's going to be nice to be able to 'accomodate' should I want to!

Hi guys! Not sure if you've been to a swinging festival before - but when I went to Swingfields - which everyone loved - it was far more about making friends and socialising with like-minded people than it was about sex!

Though the atmosphere at Effrenata is intended to be conducive to great sex if the feeling takes you - I'm sure most people (me included) will be socialising and making new friends a lot of the time! If you meet some lovely people there you can always arrange to meet them another time, after the festival? X

I never know when mines coming, she never behaves herself - and always tries to come on holiday with me!!! Beepy wet sponges can work at times if needs must...... I am hoping she stays away for this weekend , just for the sheer hell of the witch and a festival toilet *shudder*

Security Update

After the misfortune of Swingfields going viral we had a few people approach and message us with their concerns.

Naturally, we held a committee meeting to discuss any potential weak points in our security. We have made a few changes and I will be finalising onsite tomorrow with the security company.

From the outset we have had a 12 man security team in place, they will patrol and man strategic points throughout the camping and festival fields 24 hours a day.

So not to let the cat out of the bag I'm not able to tell you here what changes we have made and what we have in place but, I can tell you we are taking your security and identity extremely seriously.

There is a pill you can take which delays your period by 2 days when you stop taking it.

Exactly why I opted for a tent in the camp. I intend to soak up the relaxed holiday atmosphere and maybe even make a few great new friends. I have always enjoyed the social aspects of swinging and that's why I want to maximise my experience. I got myself a tent but still can't decide between a double airbed or double self inflating mattress. Decisions decisions.

I agree with that sentiment. Hmmmm maybe I should get some Vistaprint* cards printed (DISCLAIMER: other companies are out there and do provide a similar service lol)

Well actually, one of the BMFC guys DOES have his own 'contact cards' printed and can often be seen handing them out at our parties

Personally i think its a great idea to have all of your contact details in one place and certainly saves time looking for pens and scrapes of paper

Name / Alias / Fab Name / Email address / Phone number / Twitter etc etc

All there, captured on one small card!!
