We are currently in the final stages of planning our menu for Flirts bar. We've decided on doing a range of meals for consumption in the bar area before events, from 6pm through to 10pm.

Thought we'd ask you, our guests, what you'd like to see on the menu. What would set you up for an evening of fun?

Let us know your thoughts.

Personally I would avoid eating anything spicy or containing garlic etc as even if you brush your teeth well the smells come out in body fluids and in intimate spaces may not be welcomed by all. For the same reason I would also avoid fish based dishes.

My first choice would be pasta dishes, good pre-exertion food and two or three sauces and a couple of types of pasta gives a lot of menu choice. At least one veggie sauce.

Maybe things like stroganoffs or other meat or vegetables in an aromatic sauce with rice. All fast up, single bowl and fork dishes, easy to eat, easy to share.

Actually shareable dishes or platters might also prove popular.

Go big on yummy puddings. Big sugar hits and a sense of indulgence, many guests will be having a "special" night so want to have something naughty.

Bannanna split?

Eton (very) Mess(y)

Anything with lots of chocolate in

lancashire

Hard to get a tasty pasta sauce without the use of onions and garlic I would think, I'd go with paninis, jacket potatoes, filled baguettes , salads and the like

My suggestion would be light dishes. Almost like street food/tapas

I don't agree with the no garlic or spicy. People are eating all cuisines these days and peoples palates are more adventurous.

I think for it to be successful there needs to be variety. Just like in the club
