I have to been told that cupids has cameras in some of the play areas and that they are recorded, and are on wifi.

we have played in the dungeon area and on the open orgy bed area and have been told this can be viewed by wifi from outside of the club. is this allowed i have no problem with cameras on entry, doors even in open none play areas. we do not wish to be recorded or looked at from outside wifi so please can you let us know if this is true if so we will not be returning to this club again. we are sure this may be illegal

Sounds like bullshit to me.

Seems unlikely for many reasons...unless its a malicious attack by a disgruntled employee..i suspect not though.

Good plot for some porn though

There used to be a camera in one of the rooms but only to view, not to record (to my knowledge) you could also choose to have it on or not. I don't know if its still there because its been a while since I went and I know it has been done up since

The Data Protection Act sets rules which CCTV operators must follow when they gather, store and release CCTV images of individuals. The Information Commissioner can enforce these rules.

CCTV should only be used in exceptional circumstances in areas where you normally expect privacy - such as in changing rooms or toilets, and should only be used to deal with very serious concerns. The operator should make extra effort to ensure that you are aware that cameras are in use.

A swingers club is an area one would normally expect privacy

If it was true, I'd be all over the web, I'm always on the open bed.

There is no truth in it whatsoever. Highly illegal surely? And definitely not worth risking a reputable business for some amateur porn to be broadcast!

As pp said I doubt that cupids would risk it. There is one room I think has a camera in or used to that is broadcast to the bar... But believe that is the only one..

That can went over 2 years ago. Used to be in the mirrored room at the top of the stairs, streamed to a huge screen in the jail where pool table is. Can was activated when you went in the room, just like the one at LA Chambre and Xtasia.

Cams in changing room for safety and in the social areas, but are NOT broadcasted anywhere.

Yes this is true i would like a member of staff pref the owner or manager to state this is not happening at the club and if so notices should be in place to state this.

Excuse the obvious but rather than pose question and possible incorrect information out in public forum I would have thought a call to the club or email first would have been good idea.

If you have such concern, contact the club to speak to the relevant people. One thinks that somebody is out to cause a mischief!

You certainly have a good attention to detail.

OP I suggest you ask the couple who have verified you. They are on my veri list as well. They work at Cupid's.

Why don't you contact the club direct or your veri who you know has links to the club?

If you are so concerned about this issue the solution is simple - don't go.

If it turns out to be true and there's no explicit permission given they will get sued. A lot.

Sounds like more bitchy infighting between clubs though.

If you booked a party you have the number sounds like you want others to do what you should do and ring them yourself you are coming across bitter about something.

No I won't ask them. Ring the club yourself and ask to speak to the manager or owner to ask the question yourself. Tho you could of done that rather than starting a shit stirring thread.
