Not north west I'm afraid but vanilla alternative has ramps for access!

Unfortunately due to the old style buildings a lot of clubs occupy it seems difficult!

Adventures in lust in Stoke did have a lift in the club but steps at the front! (Shut now)

I know one in the midlands

Xtasia has some stairs but you could have access via the back way onto the social area but rooms have about 3-4 steps into the play rooms

Nothing to see here. Please move along.

Seen wheelchair users at vanilla alternative and eureka. Jay dees house of fun you can access the downstairs with the odd step. The annex in Kings Lynn only has one step at the entrance. Sorry I can't help further afield but these are my local clubs. Ring a venue if u need to know. They are usually very helpful

Hi Andy as you say you use a wheelchair when out and about are you able to get up about 4steps?

As Gatehouse in Bolton had 4steps to entrance.Plenty of parking all flat outside. And unless you crossdress wont need to go down the 2/3steps to dressing rooms...apart from that the rest of club is all on same level hope that is of some help

Birkenhead/Liverpool

You can get into Townhouse an use the bar and lounge areas but our playrooms are upstairs. We looked into getting a lift installed as we have 3 floors but apparently we don't have enough square footage that won't impinge on the fire exits to install one x

The NO3 club, Chorley is situated UPSTAIRS, but once there, the entire club (social areas and playrooms) are all on one floor and wheelchair accessable

With prior contact, i am certain that the owners would be happy to assist you up the stairs and into the venue

Slough Windsor ish

Probably far to far from you I know, but Kestrels/Abfab at Heathrow is fine for wheelchairs... several with mobilty issues use the club without any issues... Definitely worth a weekend trip perhaps... nearby Travelodge Heathrow T5 have reasonable rates if booked in advance

We went to Liberty Elite recently and a large proportion of that is on one floor.

Mrs here. I used to be a regular at no.3 in chorley when i was single and saw a wheelchair user in there a number of times, having a great time may i add. The club has, or did have a lift, that with prior arrangement could be used. Would be best to ring them and check though.

Am I the only one thing that we should open a swingers club with rooms designed for people of different disabilities and call it "Wheelchair Access"

thanks all for the further info.il find out about any lift at no3 club that would be brilliant.

I think like me most wheelchair users don't need special rooms just getting in the building and to playrooms will do

Hi Andy,

Yes Infusion has steps and slopes that catch a lot of people out. Playrooms are upstairs apart from the dark room x

When connections moves to it's new building (Octoberish, if no delays in building work) it has wheelchair access

TheUnit is wheelchair friendly, most rooms are on the ground floor ie toilets, social area's two private rooms and the large open play area.

We do have other rooms upstairs but believe we have enough downstairs to make your visit worth while.

Connections was the first to introduce a GUM clinic and as everyone knows on fab we are moving premises. We intend to make the new connections accessible to everyone regardless of their disability. Therefore we will have facilities accessible to all people with disabilities as we believe that disabled people are just as entitled to fun as everyone else.

The new premises will be wheelchair accessible. Entrance will have no steps and will have double doors for wheelchair access. The bar area, the sauna, the Jacuzzi, the social area, gymnasium and dungeon will all be located all on the ground floor. Also purpose built disabled toilet and ground floor playroom for disabled swingers. Connections are doing all this because will believe there should be equality for all.

Big up all at Connections. Your approach is so refreshing. Once up and running it looks like we'll be spending a weekend in Sunny Blackpool. Congrats on the move

I was thinking about people talking about access to playrooms, but what about toilets.? So well done connections that sounds superb. My ex partner had mobility problems, so this kind of venue will be really appreciated.

Also Andy there's a bloody big swimming pool on the ground floor in the middle of the social area and not much room around it for manoeuvrability. I certainly wouldn't risk it if I was wheelchair bound!

Must admit that's the main problem with the club scene. The buildings tend to have loads of stairs and therefore are only suitable for the able bodied! Very sad!

The new premises at Quest in Leeds are all on the ground floor and it is being built from scratch to be chair friendly with access easily to all areas.

Opening date of the new premises is end of the month, keep an eye on their website for actual dates.

As a disabled person, I'd e-mail the clubs in advance to check.
