Have looked into the legalities and licencing yet? Will you get permission for a club in that area in the chosen premises? All councils are clamping down, so it's best getting this confirmed first before investing time in your project xx

West Yorkshire is short of a good Swingers club.

Love Isis Quest friendly place and people just a shame some people are to quick to judge a place (British people love to moan)

and rest of the clubs are small private homes and not for everyone.

be nice to see a club where you can socialize more different facilities

Some good events

and good rooms and different toys lol

just be nice to see what other people think

events are always the same in clubs

Bi nights

couples only nights

BDSM Nights

Greedy Girls Nights

I'd suggest that just about EVERY possible idea or theme has been tried at clubs.

Townhouse and Xtasia are noted for new / wild / wacky / fun events. Have a look at what those guys do and then ask yourself if people would choose your club over theirs.

How could you be better ? Would it be friendlier staff ? Existing clubs, (mostly) have great staff. Would it be more plush surrounding ? Well, to do better than Xtasia, for instance, you'd have to spend HUGE amounts of cash.

So basically, the question you have to answer, is "why should people come to my club over ones they already go to ?

And the problem is, the only way to find out is to spend the money and do it. However, if your wrong, then all your money is wasted.

Good luck if you decide to do it, but it sure won't be easy to succeed !

I read somewhere about a club that had a shower leading off from each play room - that is a great idea. A club with two jacuzzis would be nice. Background music playing in each playroom would be nice too.

Partners has the biggest wet area around, Townhouse is great for other naughty things, Attic for dungeon, then there is Cupids, loads more in North...

West Yorkshire has nothing except Isis, Le Chambres and Yutopia (which seems to be closing) and do not see that any councils across here would give a license for a 6 days a week "private club". The others on offer are "private house parties" which under existing laws are in a big big grey zone -

It is not only the Council, but insurance questions, then build regulations (must have an emergency exit), fire and safety (see where one club the main electric services were to near the wet area and the fire services issued a "close notice")... and then police issues as they want to know all and every thing...

To start a club you have to have dedication and loads of money as at beginning there is no money to be made until there is a "following"...

There is so much to this club lark than most people think, but hey, anyone who is willing to stick their neck on the line, put a shit load of money into something, work over 80 hours a week and step up to the challenge is worth some of my time.

If you need any tips, advice or pointers, just PM me. I've done it in the past and I would do it again.

It's hard. REALLY hard and any advice you can get from established clubs, you should take with open arms. It's not like running parties or a bar. It's a can of worms waiting to explode in your face if you don't get it right at the start. So please do get in touch if this comes off and you want some help

For us it has to be a good wet area and plenty of play rooms. Having said that we are from West Yorkshire and go west to play...I wouldn't play too close to home so when we fancy a night out we head to Manchester and beyond.

The best club we've been to is Mystique in Tenerife, we loved it. The lighting was perfect, very dark everywhere with lots of dark corners, some alcoves were so dark you literally couldn't see anything at all. A nice jacuzzi too, something we really liked. An area for couples only, as some other clubs have, but most of the rooms open to single guys. Lots of small 'tented' rooms too.

Most themed nights have already been mentioned, but Amour's free entry social on Sundays is a brilliant idea to encourage new members to go and have a look around.

If we were going to open a club we'd definitely base it on Mystique, the atmosphere in there was great.

If you really want to know the type of club that is missing in the UK never mind just West Yorks take a trip to Fun4Two in Holland, you open a place like that and we would be there every weekend along with a load of friends, but you would need a lot more than 150k.

Hi you are looking abroad for ideas look at the Kristallgrotte in Oensingen - the owners spent over £2 million in the place and it is for couples (m+f and fuckbuddies welcome) only - with special events every month like "Eyes wide Shut".

Also they arrange "swinger" events abroad like swinger weekends in Italy for couples and single girls.

Any specific reason for west Yorkshire. I think a swingers club in the Whitby area would go down a treat. You already have a strong TV/TS presence in Scarborough. Whitby goth weekend would draw in a massive fetish Crowd and that quarentees two club capacity weeks a year. Not to mention it's vampire mecca for October and November.

On the downside you are likely to get snowed in during the winter.

Do you need a sex license? Like adult stores? or do you need a special entertainment license like strip clubs? I have found very few swingers club's that have an alcohol license, townhouse being an exception to the rule.

I'd like to know more about setting up a club myself. Lady delorean has run her own pub and has her own personal alcohol license. I'm the visionary and builder, it'll be some something I'd like to consider for when I'm ready to give up working nightshifts.

I don't know there are already so many to choose from that we haven't got round to doing that many different ones yet. For us the most important thing is safe and secure (ideally discreet) parking, without that we don't tend to visit a club

A good mix of cliental will always be s very important factor, from what I have seen (Ron) of the swingng scene, there is a vast and diverse mixture of people and having a club full of happy, genuine, open minded people who are looking for a good time, ever with other people or with each other sound like the sort place we would love to go to.

If you want to open a club go for it, you should always follow your dreams.
