As a straight female...

Some advice/opinions, please!

I was wondering what clubs were like as a straight female. Whenever I get messages from couples they are looking for a bi female... I'm worried if I go to a club and not looking to play with women, that it might not be much fun?

Go on a mixed night where there are couples and singles attending so you will not feel like a potential outsider as some couples n single fem nights can seem for straight single ladies.

I've met several straight single females who will only attend mixed nights as they almost either feel like a leper or almost obligated to allow a woman to play on couples/single fem only nights.

Thanks Annie, that's definitely what I've heard from other straight women... but they say that even on mixed nights, they find they don't have much fun...

Maybe it's the Manchester scene.

I'm just thinking of trying my first club and a bit nervous!

There are some very good clubs in Manchester... call them and ask when is the best night for a single girl and point out that you are not bi. We have been to several in Manchester and found that in most cases your wishes are respected; engage with people chat, natter and you will find that there are loads of "straight" couples around and single guys (who are just as nervous as you) who want to have fun

We are a straight couple and while we enjoy clubs on most nights, I (Courtney) would definitely recommend going on a night when single guys are allowed. From my husband's point of view, more straight single women would be most welcome as we have a really hard time finding them. Have fun!

I think that any club, who know that it's your first time at a club , will look after you and introduce you to members who they know are none pushy and will keep you company.

Then it's just a case of socialising and seeing if there is anyone you like and hope that they like you as well.

Seen straight women have just as much fun as bi women.

It's the same for everyone .. just have to give it a go !

I am a straight, single woman. I go to most of the Manchester clubs randomly, just any night but the couples' nights.

I find the same rules go for me as most club goers: I go and imagine I will chat and meet some nice people, if I play with a guy I fancy then it's just a bonus.

I do admit that, at times, it can be VERY frustrating driving home when you haven't had a play. Like for anybody else, I suppose.

That's why i like to go to a club that has a good social side, doesn't matter then if you don't play .. you still can have a good night

Hi

I used to play as a straight female, there are usually lots of straight single guys or couples like us looking for a female. I always enjoyed myself lol, some couples like to play separately too. Hope this helps...give it a try

As a bi fem I'm not really qualified to give advice but from what I've seen party nights that allow a fair number of single men would be best. Cupid's? Amour? Just leave all the lovely ladies for meeeee

I have played as a single and as part if a couple in Cupids and can honestly say I can't ever imagine going home without a shag. There is always single guys around in there.

Feel free to pm me if you want a chat. We would happily accompany you (no strings) when we next go so you'll feel more at ease x

That's why Cupids is good as there are more lockable private playing rooms than most clubs x

Virginie here ....I'm bi but if I go to a club alone I'm looking for guys. I dislike the mff (bi girls or not) scenario generally so avoid couples that are looking to tick that one off the list. So Fridays are usually best. Lots of clubs have couples only on a Saturday. Don't be afraid to make it known early on what you're looking for. I sometimes go with a woman friend, that seems to help break the ice and boosts confidence a little. k like clubs with great music and a dance floor... Then if you don't get lucky you can still have A great night dancing.

Lancashire

Cupids it's great for single straight females as it's mixed on both Friday and Saturday, their couples night is Wednesday. There are normally quite a few single guys in. But I think the important thing is not to go expecting sex, that way if you don't meet someone who tickles your fancy then your not disappointed. Just go to meet people and make new friends and you'll have a good time, sex is a bonus.

I'd gladly chaperone you one night until you feel comfortable if it would help calm your nerves. But there really is nothing to be nervous about, we are a friendly sociable bunch and the staff are great.
