time limit in play rooms.

Hiya what are people's thoughts on what is an acceptable amount of time to use a room during a busy club night?

Twenty minutes to half hour?

Less, more?

Do clubs set time limits?

Some have been known to - I think 40 minutes which we would think of as a minimum time for a foursome. An hour would be better.

We have been known to go in for what seems to us like 30mins.. only to come out and realise it's been a lot longer.

We have also been to a club where the only private room has been used for most of the night by one couple x

Not sure how you could limit it really

The only club I've been too with a time limit was Townhouse. Think it was 45 mins. It makes sense really. If private rooms are limited is it really fair that they can be 'hogged' all night?

Never seen a need for it however waiting for one to come free when you want to get in and play is a pain although it heightens the excitement with anticipation.

People sat on beds socialising should be booted off though!

There was a bloke fast asleep on our favourite bed at Kestrels once for the whole afternoon. Wanted to wake him up with a loud hailer!!

I like the fact they have clocks on the doors so you know when a room will be free next. I think 45 mins is reasonable

At my last party at partners, me and fwb wanted to use the bed at the bottom of the maze, but there was a single guy sat on it, wanking, i mean come on!! If you want people to watch you wank do it somewhere else!

When we couldn't find a room at Eureka with our fwb we headed out into the private grounds and found a table. Was a bit cold in early February but it was a memorable time for all 4 of us!

See I'd argue there that he had as much right to wank without interruption as people would expect play... We would have played but made it clear we did or didn't want his help x after all that is an open room and just because he is a single guy he doesn't have less of a right to use it.

We have ummed and ahhhed over time limits for years! We have 4 floors of rooms, most of which don't have time limits at all. 2 private rooms have time limits on them of 45 mins as they seem to be in demand, but we have plenty of other rooms that don't have time limits on them.

I know myself, when I am in the throws of play, all notion of time go out of the window and I can easily get lost and could hog a room for hours! Which isn't very fair on other people. So I now use rooms where there is no time limit and can hog to my hearts content. But for those who know they are not in it for the night, can use our timed rooms, which are more private and compact for 121 play or 3sums. Like I said, there is plenty of choice and private, timed rooms are not the only option at our club.

It was only a small bed that could only fit 2 people on it so we couldn't use it

No Townhouse has got it spot on! Great club. Great facilities and well thought out. Why compromise and go to a club with worse facilities and have to still potentially queue for a room?

Radletts @ BMFC is bad for this, 4 private rooms normally all occupied all night. only option is the attic, which my other half hates due to the ladder.

I am very new to the scene and the time limits on the 2 rooms at Townhouse worked well for me. I didn't want to play publicly and waited for a timed private room. There is a little clock on the outside of the room to tell people when it will be free, so I got a drink and ventured back up. It worked really well and I knew that I didn't have to wait ages for a room. If all of the rooms were like this, then it wouldn't work at all, but it's just 2 out of loads, so it works just fine.

Hoping my shyness will pass and I will graduate to the group play rooms soon! lol

Agree with loads of space in clubs - Were at a very nice club near Manchester err somehow lost track of time just to be shocked out of our play (mfm) as the lights went out... Thought we had been in for 30min's, but it was 1 am (2 hours)

No, in all clubs there are loads of spaces to play and enjoy - understand that some only play in private rooms but setting a time limit is kind of strange...
