So me and a lovely lady visited a club on Sat for the first time and was disappointed because the lady was very shy and the couples we did approach were very distant....but the club itself was very good

Dont be put off no 2 nights are ever the same and no one plays everytime. Go again and ill bet you will meet different people.

i was wondering if some1 can give me a bit of advice, i thought at the age of 42 id done it all but i find myself wanting to visit clubs, but i dont know how to go about it like can i go alone? is there a membership or pay on the door? help plz

They all vary. Some have memberships others are one off fees. You should check the ones in your area.... There are lots on here, or Google for finer details.

A lot of clubs have membership for single men, but ladies n couples can go as they please, just pay a one off fee each time, single ladies are sometimes free

It sounds as though you are blaming your "lady friend" for being shy.

I think there are 2 basic ways to approach clubs. You either go there hoping to find people to play with, or you arrange in advance to meet people there that you already know there is attraction all round. My wife is quite shy so the 1st option isn't as successful a strategy for us as the 2nd. So give that a try.

Another thing I will say is how to view clubs, if you think of them as a really sexy environment where you know you and your partner can play together and have a really great time, but there is also the possibility that as added bonus you Might play with others. This is a better mindset to have walking through the door and Expecting you will swap because you have paid your money to get in there.
