When we went it was mainly an opportunity for every male to speak to every female. It may seem a bit tame but anything more risqué would mean that less people would take part. The night we went they tried to organise a game as well but that wasn't much good; but during the actual speed-dating the atmosphere was buzzing.

I've been to the last 3 and they've been a laugh! The girls sit on the sofas and the guys rotate around us. Then when it's finished its playtime if all parties agree

Not at all! I think swinging's pretty easy for fems as, to an extent, we're the ones in demand and we just enjoy/wait for the attention! For a single male I imagine it can be a pretty scary concept! At speed dating you simply chat for a couple of minutes to every guy/lady in the club. No expectation, no pressure! It's simply a great opportunity to make friends and chat to new people. If you click enough with someone to want to play later on - all well and good too! If I was a guy looking at going to a club for the first time - this is the event i'd go to!

It's a great icebreaker for starting conversation. I went to the last one, having never been to anything even remotely similar before and had a right laugh. It's more about making new friends than anything else, and if you hit it off then there's always the chance to play afterwards?
