We were looking at this club, but we're put off by the application form as it seemed to want every detail...I'm surprised it didn't ask for our NI numbers.

It's totally understandable that they require info from attendees, however we found this slightly intrusive and off putting.

But it's good to know that there's a good club in Central London

If I recall correct it needed name, usual address, photo ( they recognised as soon as I walked in the door before I spoke....nice welcome) basic details of both. I could register as attending and pay a reduced cost online via PayPal I think it was. We both took ID in which was driving licence for us both. (That confirmed the rest).

I expect a club has to stick to regulations as to what they require to enter. The only bit we paid on the door was our membership cost and locker deposit.

I was quite ok with the registration process.

It is great so worth it x

Thanks for your feedback and the honest and kind remarks of those that have been here. We do take feedback on board.

With regards to the last comment, SMS is a part of our marketing strategy and the feedback from other members is that they prefer them to emails. You have only received messages because you never opted out.

Further to your email we are more than pleased to remove your number from our campaigns.

Yes us too.. Ruby has an aversion to sending photos via email or internet for privacy reasons …. not sure why this is needed in advance. it’s a pity as we have missed a cental London club since F club went!

I applied for my membership online, and although wondered why a face pic was needed went ahead anyway and have no regrets whatsoever.

I don't have much experience of clubs but assumed it was for an identity check, and tbh - had the same for another club I visited.

My experience at Le Boudoir was good, and I have every intention of attending there again .

It was kinda nice to be recognised and more importantly, warmly welcomed by the hosts upon arrival

Basically, I'm saying not I understand where you may be coming from with the reluctance to send your face pic but not to let it put you off.

Just my humble opinion of course

I understand about asking why they need it. Only the club can answer that. I have attended many clubs now and they take a copy of my drivers licence. It has my pic on. We are on a swing website where we have face pics of us (I certainly do) so can't say we don't like having face pics. I guess it is you have to send one. I expect it is a secure application form.

As another poster said and I experienced it, when I walked in the door the lady instantly recognised me and called me Fruit. I was very happy as they used my preferred name instead of my real name. It was a lovely welcome with the personal touch. All because I sent in my face pic as part of registration.

It works for me x

We have applied for membership at Le Boudoir.

The first question on the application for is to upload a picture which does look a bit off-putting - but it is not required, it is optional and if you don't add a picture the application still goes through.

We have never been to a club but hope that our first try will be at Le Boudoir soon!

Check out out review.

Top class venue.

We used the application process and have been to the club.

It represents a professional club not an invasion of privacy. Personally we were reassured by it.

It is a great club, and represents and significant move towards a more sophisticated club scene. The UK has some catching up to do with continental clubs, and la boudoir is contributing to this.
