there have been... in durham, in sunderland, in middlesborough, in yarm

all it takes is one person with courage to organise it.... it doesn't have to be a grand affair

I am proud to say i was the first person in newcastle to take the plunge and organise a "newcastle social" (as they are now) many moons ago....

that was held in the upstairs social area of a pub.... 120 people from all over the country came...

people will support them...... but if everyone waits on someone else to organise something, invariably nothing will get done

Have been think of starting to run one in Durham, every 3 months. Plenty of places have free rooms to use, just not had the free time. Watch this space will see what I can do. But would anyone turn up is big question
