We want to visit a club for the 1st time ever. Its a smallish club local to us. Not a spa. I know if we get any play. Sexy undies. But. I really don't want to be walking around in my undies the whole time. Especially being a size 16. Any advice please. Very naive about this

Well I dont see any issues with your basque pics but if you feel uncomfortable do the sexy undies and a very short skirt with it. My wife wears a leather mini skirt when we go to chams works for me

You shouldn't say "especially being a size 16" - you look lovely and you will see all shapes and sizes like you would on the beach, at the pool etc.

I suggest you read the clubs webpage and possibly email you or ring you up. People who work in clubs are really helpful especially with first-timers.

I just wear boxers unless its a Dress-up occasion but my OH has a "shag-bag" with a variety of little dresses etc but usually goes in a basque etc with something loos over the top to take off on arrival.

Also people get more "relaxed" about what they are wearing as the evening (or even the afternoon lol) goes on.

Good luck - enjoy - everyone was nervous the first time at a club.

I was the same when we first went to a club. I wore a dress and took it off when I'd relaxed a bit more. Honestly like everyone says you'll see all shapes and sizes. Just enjoy your evening xx

Firstly, you look gorgeous in your photos so don't worry about that. I've worn chiffon kimono type wraps with pretty underwear sets underneath and suspender skirts rather than belts before now to clubs for similar reasons. Once they start coming off I'm past caring though. My advice is to wear something comfortable that you feel confident in since confidence and sexy are intrinsically linked.

Yes, go for the comfortable - but remember the stunning effect that basque of yours can have. Real women start at size 16 xxx

Although I haven't been to one I think my outfit would be something like;

A longline balconette bra & an open-bottom girdle, with suspenders attatched & a black sarong / lace kaftan style dress or long sheer gown over the top

I like the open bottom girdle cause it looks like a mini skirt but does so much more for the fuller figure and has the benefit of detatchable suspenders in most cases

No real women come in all shapes and sizes not just 16+. OP wear whatever you feel amazing and sexy in. It doesn't have to be too revealing.

I'm a size 16-18 and wore a strappy chemise with holdups and heels. It covered the bits I felt conscious about (hips, bum and tum in my case!)

As others have said there doesn't necessarily seem to be a right or wrong answer. I would however suggest checking the website first incase they do have a dress code or it's a themed night.

Have fun

So true real women come in all sizes.

We are venturing out on the 14th for our first club night and I was exactly like this. I want to look nice but comfortable until I'm comfortable wearing my undies.

It hard picking as you don't want to be ott or under dressed. I'm sure whatever you pick will be just fine. X

We went to Chameleons on Sunday - my first time at a club and I was so nervous about being seen. However, once I got there, the atmosphere was so relaxed and there really are people of all shapes and sizes there. Most of us had a towel but there were some women in lingerie...

Just wear what you feel comfortable in and I'm sure that once you are there you will relax..

Have fun - I had an amazing time and can't wait to go back for more!!

I never feel any pressure to dress down (does depends on the club though) and have kept my dress on all night if that's what I've felt like doing.

Going to clubs is meant to be enjoyable rather than traumatic so enjoy! xx
