As a regular visitor to The Vanilla Alternative (I'll be there on the Friday) you can expect the Saturday of Valentine's weekend to be very busy. It's a wonderful club with a very friendly staff team and some really nice visitors. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

As with all clubs, because couples don't have to book in, they never know who is going to turn up on any particular night. Also a lot of VA visitors like to keep a bit of a low profile which is why there are not as many reviews in the Clubs section for VA's as there are with many other clubs.

I'm sure it will be a busy night and there may be a few more FAB members who indicate their intentions here.

Don't worry too much about the dress code. Generally it's a bit upmarket (dress to impress) but being Valentine's weekend there is a 'red' theme. This can be anything from completely OTT to as sexy as you like (I'm talking about the ladies here!). The important thing is that you feel comfortable in what you are wearing. You won't have it on for too long so don't get stressed about it.

VA's is a great club and this should be one of the best weekends. Regular visitors and the wonderful staff team will make you feel really welcome.

It takes a bit of finding! If you look on the Swinging Club/Event ads part of the forum, on page 2 you will find Vanilla Alternative Up and Coming Events by Duracell Bunnies. She mentions the red theme in there and it's been the same at VA's for Valentine's weekend for several years.

Due to an emergency road closure there are special arrangements to get to VA's tonight (Friday 13th). From the barrier at the Blunham junction, you will be escorted along the closed section of road. The club is open as normal tonight and the roadworks team know people will be requesting this escort provision. It's going to be a busy night so spread the word to anyone else you know will be attending.
