Hey

Just wondering how people would feel about a new swingers club opening in leicester city centre? I believe there use to be g spot which closed down. I would love to open something or organise something so just want to get peoples feedback.

What would people be looking for from a new place? what should a new place offer and do you think it would be popular? especially in city?

peoples thoughts would be appreciated

I would be looking for a club with friendly staff , clean safe environment ,not just for couples .. reasonably priced , pref a good jaccuzi and porn that's not all anal ... but then I am somewhat biased and these are the things I like , others may have different opinions ...

A dress down club like chams in Leicester would be great. The gspot wasn't great so a chams style club would be a superb

I personally wouldn't go to a city centre venue for a club, I need discretion for my job, in city centre where I work I could easily be recognised going in or coming out of the venue.

Also believe, from what I've been told (hearsay) that gspot often had after pub crowds in to

Hi, according to a message we received this week it looks like somebody may have had the same idea!

Check out Midswingers profile. Can't vouch for them or the venue (apparently going to be holding swingers events in an existing city centre gay sauna) starting Friday 27th February.

ok great, thanks everyone. Its pretty obvious the scene has changed so much over the years and people are looking for new things.

How do you think people with react to just a swingers bar where people can come and have nice drinks, dance and get to meet likeminded people in a social atmosphere. which would mean no pressure amongst other benefits

Hi, this has been discussed for a while now and we think it is a great idea.

Just to point out though, a Swinger's Bar was opened in Birmingham a few years ago, and it never took off so it closed.

May we ask are you in a position to open one, or are you just trying to gauge general opinion?

Amy, we would personally love it.

Don't know why the Birmingham one didn't work.

The only thing we think is if the public can come in would it mean we would get idiots spoiling what could be a great bar? We are sure that if the venue could work well there would be a great demand for it.

We look forward to hearing how it pans out.

Nope it would defo be a members only place but the more i think about it the more i think it would be a great idea.

So you think people would be happy that there are no facilities for play area but more to meet people and dance flirt and tease? i know i would love this

play areas are a must,

dont need many but needs that option.

you dont know what happens in the future, like regular future events with regular members.

they clearly will have a chemistry and attraction built up and want a playzone.

Ok so this is the thing, I want to create something more niche towards people who don't play on the night but people who like to build chemistry, dance and drink good drinks whilst flirting and teasing. Hence I'm thinking swingers bar and not a club. Your point of view is appreciated but let me know if you think it would be nice to have something different

It may attract more people to as they may not find it intimidating and great place as an ice breaker

In our personal opinion. We think a swingers bar would attract the wrong sort. People out on the piss hoping for a cheap shag. As oppose to a private swingers club that will attract proper swingers who know the scene. Only our opinion mind. Hope this helps.

hey thanks for the feedback. Just so we are clear i want to try and offer something different to whats out there already. chams i here is fantastic but its a towel/sauna kind of place so not my cup of tea and I'm sure somewhere with a nightclub feel is not cham fans kinda place. I want to offer something different more in the lines of what i would look for and what a lot of people are saying with a changing market. I know again this is not going to be everyones cup of tea so i do appreciate the comments but is there anyone else out there who would visit a members bar/late lounge where its full of like minded people where the emphasis is on socialising, dancing and good drinks. I must admit I've not been to any swingers clubs yet that offer a good selection of drinks.

We are with you on your idea.

A well policed bar would be a great idea.

If you controlled the people who came in, and we are sure you would, we would definitely be regular visitors!

Yep that was poor and again they had no dance floor, no alcohol licence and no emphasis on socialising

I believe they made a lot of money from single d*unk guys and very few couples.

Hi guys

We would love there to be a new swingers minded bar in leicester, we would become regulars whether it was a social meeting up kind of place or if it had play rooms etc there is plenty of hotels to go back to when you do find the right people anyway and we just love the social side of swinging as much as we do the playing.

Please keep us informed on the progress.

We really miss having somewhere local as libs etc are just to far for us as we would need to get taxi's as we like a few drinks on a night out yet can't often stay in the hotel due to babysitters.

We will be attending the new place on the 27th feb.

Hope you set the new place up soon

We loved the g spot it was open 0ver 10 year is that the sign of a bad club it was city centre not some industrial area bring in your own wine beer which helps people to come more often music social. Or play gd parking close by i think g8 idea as we vist leciester alot

Grew up in this area so visit a lot. For me a swingers bar sounds like a good idea but not workable.

A swingers club would be preferable for me. The social element of this lifestyle is feeling comfortable, the excitement and the shared experience.

I'm not sure I always want to have to take someone elsewhere or arrange another meet, so no play areas would mean I might choose somewhere else to socialise.

I applaud your idea to do something different and if you do it hope it works out well.

If there was another swingers club in Leicester we would 100% go!

We have been to garden of eden before it burned down then we used to frequent the g-spot until things got a bit silly in there and since then it's very rare we can get further afield as no car and don't like to rely on others.

To us, the amount of facilities isn't as important as a good atmosphere, feeling safe and a grope box!!! yes 100% it needs a grope box and a proper one like x-tasia has
