I'm new to this and am attending my first club tomorrow at Amour in Manchester.

I have a question for the well informed…well travelled of you.

I have a nagging thought that I'm going to bump into someone I know from somewhere.

Has anyone experienced this and if so how did you deal with this?

I can see I'm over thinking all this far too much!!

I remember a friend of my brothers and an old school friend to me coming into a club whilst I was there. First thought - shock horror - we got over the awkwardness and then as we both said, what happens in the club stays in the club. We had a great night. At the end of the day he was there for the same reason as me!

Zurich. NOT London.

They are there for same reason as you, don't worry about it. Has happened to us a couple of times, once we said hello and had a chat, the other time it was just a nod of acknowledgement and left to get on with our respective nights. T he Amour lot are uber friendly too, you'll have a great time.

Same here. Bumped into a lady I knew from many eons ago. Spent about ten mins chatting to work out where we knew each other from - then another half hour having a catch-up. No awkwardness at all! Both there for the same reason!! xx
