Was thinking of going to La Chambre on New Years Eve, is anyone else going or is £65 entry too much, just seems too expensive!

We honestly think it's too much, especially when other clubs are charging less. La Chambre is our regular club and if it wasn't for the cost we would be going there.

What is it with La Chambre's charges compared to other clubs? Seems even the drinks are more expensive there now too as well as their entrance fee!

We can't go so don't really know why I'm getting involved.......but going to anyway.....does seem expensive but we always have a great night and not many clubs around where we can dance and party like any other bar in town before going for fun. Maybe that's why we keep going back

Entry fees of £20 and £25 are comparable to prices at Partners, Amour etc

Agree with that but they don't charge £65 for New Years Eve and yearly membership fees. There drinks are also cheaper! La Chambre is a nice club, they are just over charging there customers.

We don't mind the usual fees for entry, and think the bar prices are pretty reasonable. We just can't justify spending so much money on one night out just after xmas. We know it will be a fantastic night

The price for NYE at La Chambre is actually £60 on the night or £55 if you pre-book.

We pre-booked weeks ago - so we didn't feel the pinch at Christmas time

Happily corrected on that, but £60 is still 50% more that Partners at £40. All we are thinking also is if we paid the £60 and the club was quiet due to price to get in! What a waste of money and night.

Try again without the spelling mistakes...

Personally I dont think £25 is much extra to find. Its fewer rounds of drinks on the night or not having a takeaway this week. But I appreciate that this isn't the case for everyone

We are going and yes we do think it's quite expensive... We booked the nearby Ibis budget hotel 3 months ago and it was only £36 for NYE so I suppose, it's evened it self out....
