Crete or LANCASTER

When it comes to Swingers clubs.

Who goes where?

Where's best?

I am a Lancashire Lad living in exile in Southampton, and have been spoilt by the choice of great clubs around Manchester. (Cupids,Partners,A&E,remember Xanthine and the Boardroom?)

If local is Bournemouth and Salisbury surely there is a demand locally?

Its dire! We go to london for or club nights. You might want to try donkey dicks in salisbury but its more house party than club really and its too close for me to try so I don't know what its like.

Milton Keynes is the same. An hour minimum for a club round here.

We tend to go to Angels or AbFabs, neither is that local - but we prefer to be a liitle further away from home! Both are very good!

Brighton - even Hove!

Look at my thread 'Brighton adult clubs' - it's dire down here. A huge opportunity for someone to start a south coast swingers club.

Been there. Can take 2hours to get there with traffic. Then they close about 9-30.(I recall?) so going after work is almost a wasted effort. Then there's the times when single males are excluded.. .

I do love the place, and I've had some good times there.

That's kind of my point,we're in a kind of vacuum, As a business district,Southampton has a massive population to draw on,hence the retail parks, the biggest Next in the Country, etc, plus all the Swinging Cruisers.ie.There's about a million people a year who use the Port,

There are many places a club would benefit locals.

The issue is not usually demand - but getting approval from the relevant authorities.

Not everyone is a swinger and not everyone feels the need for a club on their doorstep,

It's good to travel and there are plenty of opportunities with a bit of planning!

Me too, but time and money are a factor

4hours drive,£80fuel,£80 hotel, meals,£30club entry,+membership fee?!

Get real.

I quite like a club in Germany, great facilities, better than anything I know of in the UK,but I won't be popping in after work tonight.

Yes, there was Jct2 in Southampton, and they closed it.They did seem to be taunting the Council though. These places usually run somewhat unobtrusively.Doesn't help when the local rag runs a story on the front page.

Just picking up on this, we are down in Hampshire for Xmas and looking for some fun locally and really struggling. Does anyone know if Paradise Spa in Bournemouth is any good? That looks like our only option...

We've heard mixed reviews about paradise spa.

There's donkey dicks in Salisbury, but that's more of a house party.

Jct 2 earned itself a reputation and the local council took a dislike of anything similar.

There was rumours of an Eastleigh club but that's a long way off.

House parties might be the only short term solution.

problem is local councils.. its them that wont grant licences for a club. someone in warrington has been trying for yrs to open a club. and notice how there is only one Liverpool way

itnot just councils.it the local people too, there was a sex dungeon here in warrington ran very discreetly for yrs, until it made the papers....

so not as easy to set up a club as one would think
