Single female first club visit

One thing I would really like to do in 2015 is to attend a club. I want to do this on my own but have the usual worries I'm sure everyone has.

I wondered if anyone had any advice for me. I want to enjoy the experience and make the most of my time but don't want to feel any obligation to play but neither do I want to offend anyone by assuming everyone wants to play.

I also hate anything which feels forced or effected so would like a natural environment where things just flow. Not sure I'm making much sense.

I feel like I may be stepping into a minefield I will have created in my mind.

My advice would be take a good look through the club section and then at clubs websites.

Decide which typ of club you want to go to, then decide which type of night you want to go to.

Go along, let the staff know it's your first time and they'll show you around/introduce you to a few people.

The main rule in clubs is no means no and only do what you feel comfortable with. Go looking to have a drink and a chat, anything else is a bonus.

You've also got a great club not far away in townhose, or make a weekend of it and go further afield,

Depending on what your looking for i would say go on a cpls and fem night not on a mixed night for a first 1 make some friends and look at what your into and look at clubs that offer what your after

That's good advice. Bear in mind there is never any expectation to do anything, you must only do what you feel comfortable with. Some clubs, like Amour in Manchester and No.3 in Chorley have social evenings, so you can go and take a look around and chat, then if you want to stay there and play you can do.

We don't always play anyway, but we do love the sexy atmosphere in clubs.

You do have a great club close by in Townhouse, I used to go there regularly and feel very comfortable as a single woman - it isn't a dress down club so you can just spend the evening relaxing in the bar area fully dressed if you like, without being hassled like you can be in a normal bar.

If you choose to play it is very much on your terms and Vicky and Jim will definitely look after you.

If you feel brave enough to try a dress down club, Cupids has a very safe feel to it too, particularly during the daytime and No3 has a relaxed social night on Thursdays x whichever you choose, you don't have to do anything when you go so relax and enjoy xx

essex just looking around

As I a single female that has visited around 12 clubs I would say they all have their own merits

I would definitely say try them yourselves and always go with someone at first,,

Look at what you are after if its singles guys. Most clubs only allow weekdays and Fridays

Personally I prefer Euerkas .. Where around 15 plus single females of regularly on Saturdays ( all couples guys and girls welcome ).

It's very safe , you can stay on site and all females are looked after

The reason I prefer this club is because it's more a party atmosphere. . Play isn't in your face .. There's no pressure and over 300 regular attendees... Party nights are best

Try this weekend. Or my birthdays/social on 24th Jan.. They'll be plenty of other singles there

If you want to come along just send us a private message. You can chat to A & she'll tell you all about it. The staff are really nice, you'll have a great time.

By the way, we are going to a fancy dress Christmas Party on Saturday at Isis. They are always really good nights and it would be a great night for your first visit.

My first time was awful, I got followed around the club and after running into a room to escape three men forced their way in. I made it totally clear I didn't want them to touch me and I didn't want to play. One guy persistently touched me and another kept asking me to fuck him while he was opening my legs etc. I ended up letting him so I could get out asap (I was so bad at being forceful and sticking to no!! ) when he finished I ran off crying, left and swore I'd never be back.

I now go quite often with a female friend, she's more out spoken than me, I've found my voice and believe it or not we get approached less. Guys probably feel intimidated. I wanted to share my experience so you know things can go wrong. Make sure you are strong enough before you go (I thought I was) but if at all possible I'd recommend going with a friend first to see if you do like it. Hope you enjoy it, good luck xx

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience but I do hope you reported this to the club and in turn to the police as what you just described was assault. I'm assuming you wouldn't allow someone to treat you that way in a pub or non-swinging environment?

As some one said go on a couples/girls night expect nothing and just relax. Go to a serious club which has several areas and when you arrive at the club tell the person at the entrance that you have never been. Try Partners in Bury as three you have more choice in areas then other clubs

I have been Chams many times as part of acouple and as a single fem and enjoyed it although nowadays i go with my hubby as a couple ( i didnt know him in the days i went alone).

I only ever played with who i wanted to but im not nervous about saying no to guys i wasnt interested in.

Have a look at the clubs websites and see which you prefer

I think the advice of reading swinging club websites and reviews etc...is a good start. You will have an idea of what sort of environment you want to start with, so if you want a party atmosphere, a chilled out bar, a wet area, a club where dress down is not enforced throughout the premises....there is somewhere that will meet your requirements.

I think it's always hard for single ladies who wish to make the step alone, but I would say most clubs will look after you as we have seen new ladies make those first steps so often!

Just to give you an idea, last saturday at Townhouse we had around 6 single ladies in, all of whom came in alone but over a short space of time, have met friends. We always make sure our ladies are ok throughout the night and will help you meet friends around the bar, so you are not left twiddling your thumbs...or other bits! lol Then again, our club is VERY social, so you will be chatting to people in no time; oh and just because you are chatting, does not mean people will expect you to play!

We run a tight ship at Townhouse, which means our guys can't just walk in off the street to join, they need to book for events and we have limited numbers at the weekend. So what we have are really lovely guys, who we look after as they respect the club and it's members. Ladies never feel pressured to get involved by guys and couples will also understand that you may just want to take baby steps.

We have nights which are more social than others and if you want to chat to me more about the club and how it all works, then please feel free to call me or PM me. I can even arrange for a female member to meet you at the club and maybe chat to you on here first so you know at least one person when you first arrive.

Don't worry even single guys get nerves first time in a club.

Tried a few in the NW but I like Townhouse the best (and not sucking up here) because it has the right atmosphere - sometimes I've not been to play just have a Sauna, hot tub then a drink.

Haven't read the whole thread hun but you have a great club near you - the Townhouse. You'd struggle to meet a friendlier bunch of people - honest!!! I've been during the day but fully intend to try it at night-time. Feel free to pm me if you'd like to go when I do - and i'll happily introduce you to some of the lovely regulars there! Xx

I'm a single female who has been to several clubs alone and with a swinging partner.

To be honest i much prefer going alone as i find it much more empowering and you can please yourself with who you play with and what you do with no jealousy or anything like feeling obliged involved!

Also, the townhouse in my experience is the least cliquey, most tolerant club i've been to and they really look after single females

Agree with above about going with a guy ... I meant a female or non play friend

And the beauty of your location is you have a much wider choice of clubs than us southerners ..

I've heard the townhouse is a great club ... On my northern tour list ..

If you do decide you want to come along to Isis with us you will have to message us, as we're outside your age range and can't message you.

We'd be happy to meet you elsewhere for a drink first, then go along to the club. Everyone is very friendly and we're sure you'd have a great time.
