Is this club worth going to? Am going Friday for the first time and was interested to here any opinions on it? Busy? Quiet? Friendly? Etc etc

We would say no as there are far better places to go to but its personal choice.

couldn't really comment on a fri night as we tend to go on couples only sat evenings ,,,, we love it there and it ticks all our boxes

You could go and a have a great night and you could go and have a poor night. Just the way things go.

There are essentially two types Swing Club type venues - dress up and dress down types. Xtasia is really a dress up venue and you always have a bit of background music going on from the DJ. On party nights Xtasia is about as good as it gets anywhere in the UK because they have the space and the facilities to "make things happen."

No one will be able to tell you if you will have a good night or a bad night because that will depend very much on you. From memory, I think that it is BMFC night on Friday and so some of the couples/women there may possibly be on the look out for something very particular - on the other hand - it is likely to be quite busy and so others may be going for the reason of it being likely to be a busy night.

Not sure what an earlier person meant by saying there are better places, it sounded a bit like someone wanting to take a cheap shot rather than give you any meaningful advice.

I have only been twice and whilst I had a good time, it is my least favourite club.

The dance floor and bar area just seems a wasted space, the use of space and facilities could be better thought out. The times I've been there were maybe 4 people on the dancefloor. The play area in comparison seemed too cramped. The dungeon bit at the end is ok.

I quite like the attic floorspace, those little cubbyholes but I wasn't keen on the wet room area.

Its better when its full but personally it lacks the vibe and personality of chameleons.

C'mon seriously.... How can you compare Chameleons to Xtasia? They are both Fab but in entirely different ways. The Midlands is truly blessed to have what are probably the two best Clubs in the UK but they are worlds apart in the experience that they both offer.

total rubbish. been..n.waste of money. ud better off going to clubs in.bham.. where theirs more play sexy females..try the private club bham.its outstanding xxx

The clubs are different but Xstasia just doesnt have the great vibe that chameleons does. Maybe its because the staff at chams are first class and really have those special people skills.

I much prefer Abfabs or Libertys, Jaydees is a great little club, Radlett has good parties, etc. Xstasia just seems to have a big expanse of dancefloor and bar which isnt used to capacity and on the outskirts of this dancefloor are smaller but popular areas which are cramped, the layout just doesn't work in my opinion.

Clubs are individual experiences though so each club will work for some and not others.

It's our favourite club always a good night and every time we go gets better with little upgrades and the staff and prices are second to none

I've not experienced a club yet but thought I'd try xtasia first because of the club bit as I don't want to feel under pressure to do something should I decide not to.

I've heard it's a great place and that everybody is very welcoming

We've never been, because every time we've intended to go we've ended up at chameleons but I would say give it ago it's only your opinion that counts just because it doesn't suit some of the people in this thread it might suit you
