FabSwingers.com forum: Bad club reviews?

I often dont agree with some of the bad reviews of clubs.Often they sound like sour grapes for having a fruitless night. But I do respect the posters right to post.

Now recently there were some bad reviews of Adam & Eves. A club we use sometimes and like. Today when I look the reviews have gone.

Now even if I dont agree with a review, removing them seems wrong.Yes the club should have the right to reply. If all bad ones can be removed, then whats the point of having reviews?

I've just put the same post up its ridiculous it's a pointless part of the site if we can't leave negative feedback. Not all of us can be wrong regarding this place

Admin have answered this on other posts... Bad reviews get left... Abusive ones to regular members or other users aren't.

Plenty of avoid ones remain. Depends how someone puts their account across.

If you have a point to make, even if it is a bad one, make sure you dont do it in a derogatory or abusive way then it will stay and others will get to read it. Simple isn't it?

I agree with abusive ones being reported, but some of the ones did not seem like that, just negative (I happen to like the Club generally BTW). Clubs should be able to reply to any neg reviews. Well I must admit we just don't use the reviews any more as we do not find them helpful. We ask friends who have been instead.

There is a big difference between a review/critique of a club and slating it and it's members.

One is acceptable the other is not. Genuine negative feedback is usually welcomed by club owners who often endeavour to deal with the problems but when all someone is doing is saying it's shit everyone in there is shit and the owners are shit it is more personal attack rather than constructive Criticism.

This ^^^. Reviews are not removed just because they are negative. They are removed if they are abusive, slating other members, or just generally nasty. Or if they are not actually reviews.

Abusive posts arent allowed in any part of the forums and that includes reviews.
