Hi everyone,

I am going to make my first trip to a swingers club soon but I really don't know what to expect. I'm a 22 year old male and would be attending the club alone as I have no partner. I just want some advice in what to do and what will happen? Will people approach me and what will they do? Do a lot of single makes attend on their own?

If you have selected the club I would read the reviews and possible contact some of the people that have been to ask them there opinions and you might be able to get chatting to a few that will be there on the same night so you have someone to chat with when you go.

I agree with Crafty. Do your research on the club you've chosen and try to speak to some of the members. Also the staff/owners should help to welcome you when you attend and put you at ease / introduce you to other members. That was certainly the case for me when I started to attend Vivente in Sunderland.

Good luck xx

The hardest thing is walking through the door. Once you're in there you'll wonder why you haven't been before.

It's best to go there with no expectations of playing, just relax, try to chat to people at the bar, and enjoy yourself. Be polite and respectful, and people will be the same back to you.

You may well get to play, but don't expect it just because you've paid to go in.

So will people approach you? Or is it not like that?

I really am new to this so don't know what to expect

It is a bit like walking into a pub with a load of people you don't know, just the dress code might be a little different.

Be polite, chat a little and who knows.

You are unlikely to be approached, and yes a lot of single males attend on their own.

Do not expect people to jump on you. Chat to people as you would in a pub.If you are talking to a couple talk to both of them. Do not just talk to the lady. Don't follow people around and be a pest. Just relax and go with the flow. Do your research about the types of club and remember the number one rule - no means no. Good luck.

Oh and don't go with high expectations as you may not get to play on your first visit.
