We had no problem with parking!

Never seen so much choice of places to park.

I never implied that there wasn't plenty of parking. I said the parking was dodgy. There is ample parking, but it's safer to park at least 10 mins away, or get a taxi. Either that or risk your car being broken into, which has happened on every occasion I have been there and property stolen from hidden compartments. Not to me personally (thank goodness), but others and yes I have been there to help. One poor couple had to drive home to stoke with a full window out.

Sure this can happen at any club, but to have it done on a near weekly basis, it's not worth the risk.

Taxi all the way. The club itself is smart, clean and a lovely hot tub.

Does Amour have CCTV outside the venue? I sounds like a great place and it would be a shame for people to be put off by car crime. Would it be worth them asking for a male member volunteer to 'welcome people in' and keep an eye on cars in the area while he's there in exchange for free entries? I don't know the area at all, so if the cars are parked out of sight then this won't work. We have CCTV all around the building and over our car park and have a car park attendant. But this works because of our location...it may not be so easy for Amour. I think I would maybe park in a safer area and walk in or get a cab or something. This is a problem for people driving over who don't know the area...hmmm. What a bloody shame for the club. City centre locations are always a problem, but I am sure there is a way to 'skin this cat'?

Excellent idea of having a male volunteer, but with the area, you'd need at least two. There is an NCP carpark right next door, but unmanned and not sure if there is CCTV. The parking immediately outside of the club would be great, it's in a well lit street, but again, I'm unaware of CCTV. To be honest, even if there was, I doubt it would put the thugs off.

That saying, my dozy friend left his car keys in a whole night and they didn't get stolen, but perhaps that was due to the fact that it was one of them card type/keyless ignition, so may have missed them.

But a thumbs up for volunteers, I wanna go back sooooon!

We do have cctv and also staff who regularly check on vehicles parked outside,

We do also recommend the car parks that are all within five minutes walk of the club,

We have heard of 3 occasions when there have been issues of car crime in five months,

We have had regular contact with the police over this and are also in negotiations to try and acquire our own private locked car park directly across from the club,

Regards Amour,

Fingers crossed for the locked car park!

We are planning to attend armour next April as we are going to the men arena for a show,

Can anyone recommend a good hotel with parking that is close by or should we stay on the outskirts and get a taxi in to the city centre looking for reasonable priced hotel

I park me pride n joy outside almost every night and never had a worry or an incident (I worry more parkin outside my own house due to the ex wife n her erratic broomstick landings lol)...plenty of spaces to park within cctv range and as the club say the perimeters are regularly patrolled by staff to check alls well with ppls cars/belongings....it'll be even better if the plans come off for the private and locked car park...thumbs up to carl n lisa for all thier efforts so far they've turned an empty shell into a top club

La chambre used to have a security guy walking around the streets outside the club and it worked well. Really wanting to visit this club as it has such good reports but these posts are concerning for us.

I went to Amour for the first time as threesome a couple of weeks back. It was her first time (and his) to a swingers club and it couldnt have been a better introduction to the scene. Lots of mostly naked people of all shapes, ages and sizes from the utterly horny to, well, me! It was a kareoke party with fun sexy silly games involving simulating sex position - well mostly simulation but one girl got carried away Mop needed yes - go girl, go girl!

The single guys there were mostly decent and respectful - they asked our lady if they could join in while we were both satisfying her heightened libido after watching one sexy and accomodating girl having group sex, she shook her head as he asked and I confirmed she said no, and he respected her wishes without question or comment.

The hot tub was WONDERFUL as we were having a pleasant chat with one of the regulars.

Back in the bar there were some very impressive singers, I tried my best with a rendition of Elton Johns "Dont let the sun go down on me" Guys, Im not the best singer and going after a really GOOD singer was daunting but I enjoy singing, its fun.

Would I recommend it? Hell yes!!!!

Parking - yes its obvious from glass there have been issues, but the club are working on that. We went by taxi purely by chance. Should that put you off? No , if you are worried park in the nearby car park and get a taxi-its worth the effort.

If you go to any inner city venue and park on a public road/car park, you are at risk. The club can't control what goes on in the surrounding area and can't be everywhere all the time. If they get the car park that they are working towards, then this will be a great addition, but in the meantime, I'd just look at all of the other options suggested and go!!
