First trip to club

Hi,

We are thinking of our first trip to a club in the next couple of weeks - probably Liberty Elite and were wondering if anyone had any tips or advice for best nights to attend etc. This would be our first foray into swinging and our first trip to a club but we are a bit worried that a newbies night may be quiet and everyone would be nervous whereas we would prefer a fun, busier atmosphere. It's unlikely we would go for a full swap on our first visit but same room sex or soft swap is possible. If anyone could recommend a night or has any tips, we would love to hear from you.

We are going to our first club next Friday at va. It's cabaret theme weekend, that way I had an idea what to wear abd it's proberly sexier then I would've chose if was a normal night! That was one reason we decided on va. Also because they restrict single men to 10 and they have to prebook. Also the socia/bar side appealed to us and the huge hot tub. It just looked classy and sexy. I think it depends what your looking for to what type of club and night you choose x

This weekend (Sat) is looking very busy going from this forum thread

with a lot of young 30ish couples - it may be one of the better nights to try it being completely honest.

Otherwise perhaps a xmas party event would suit.

The nights at Libs do tend to be rather hit and miss of late.

Whenever you go, have fun.. It's a nice well appointed club.

Just check the website for dresscode etc.

The first club we ever visited was Liberty Elite and we had a wonderful evening. As a couple we set our boundaries before going and we adhered to them. We went back several times after and each time was great fun.

Four years on, we now favour Vanilla Alternative and I believe Saturday's are more popular than Friday's. The themed evenings are always well attended.

VA I would suggest is a bigger venue, however they do not have any private rooms which some might see as a draw back.

We are also club virgins but our next free night is 29/11/14.

We are not sure which club to visit yet but the attic is probably the most probable one with what we have read on here.

Great choice for a first club.

Really friendly and safe environment.

That Saturday will be really busy as it is a party night.

What kind of party is it ?

Would you recommend we just dress normally for our first time ?

What is the best time to go ?

Do they sell alcohol or do we bring our own ?

The Attic party night is Friday 28th which is the end of month party and Cali`s birthday.

Usually as it`s the end of the month you can expect about 250 people there.

It`s Tass`s party tonight but as it doesn`t coincide with the month end it will not be as busy.

Soft drinks are £1.

You bring your own alcohol.

Smart casual is good, women tend to either dress in sexy attire or change when they get there.

There are lockers and free towels for a deposit.

Have a good talk about boundaries and preferences before you go.

Consider setting up a code word. That way there is always a getout if one of you is unsure or feel that things are going a bit fast. Or even if you just want to move on to a different part of the club but your OH is deep in conversation, it's a quick way to say "I need you to focus on me right now and listen to what I'm saying".

Oh and don't be tempted to have more than one or two drinks.

Unfortunately we can't make the 28th which is a shame as that sounds great.

What will it be like on the 29th, will it still be worth going with it being the night after a big party ?

I think we will be going with no expectations and an open mind.

Thanks for the tips, advice and discussion - especially those who have mailed us personally. We have taken it on board and think we have made our minds up for Libs for one of the Xmas parties. Hope to see some of you there, drop us a message if you'll be coming!!
