"Is there a membership pass system? For simply Single Guys I may visit...." There's no pass system but membership is £25 and at most entry fee is £25 on a Friday night or £20 on Sundays and bi nights. However you do have to take the membership which lasts a year

"Its pointless when live in a different. Region for A membership TBH. ...Especially Singleguys ...I guess its a point of single M not really wanted ..id av to buy a membership for every club sorry it won't be happening unless i win the lottery " Its not that single guys aren't wanted, we just don't do non member entry whether you're male, female, couple or anything else. Everyone has membership and at least its not extortionate compared to some clubs

Stayed we'd not renewed our membership and had to pay again on the night supplied proof we'd payed but they refused to return our money ! What a Feckin shower !! They're loss !!! " Wonders if that's why they wanted an annual membership when we we're only giving the club a nosy for a future visit

"Do u not have to be affailated too .....is it a part of the membership to or am I best just takin Sue the...(Jane)" If you join as a couple, you wont be allowed entry as a single guy without paying the difference in membership prices. You don't have to married or whatever to join as a couple but you are expected to play as a couple, more so on the Saturday night than the mixed Friday or Sunday nights

Once that membership is taken out, its valid for a year or until the next instance of your renewal month (as explained above)

" Everyone has membership and at least its not extortionate compared to some clubs" One of our regular clubs has no membership fee for couples, another had £5 for life membership, membership fees put us of going to a lot of new clubs, this one was recommended to us by a few couple we have played with, when looking into it 1 visit would cost us £50 plus a nights hotel due to distance, could this club and others not offer a 1 night only or 1 months trial pass?

"We haven't been for a few years, our membership used to start in November if we came next weekend and paid our membership would it run out at the end of this month like it use to, think a years membership should be a year from when you pay, that's one of reasons we stopped going, shame because we use to like this club, but there is plenty of choice of clubs to visit now where you don't feel cheated." Its to encourage people to renew on time and make the most of the membership although I can see why it can get confusing

"Couples membership is on offer for only £15 but everyone has to pay membership which expires in your renewal month. If you join in January 2014, your membership expires the following January 2015. If you don't return until October 2015 your renewal will only take you to January 2016. It makes the most sense to renew on time and get the full year out of it" Or to put it another way, if you`ve been a member and for any reason you are unable to attend and renew your membership, you get screwed for membership you couldn`t use! Great!

" You just renew at the point you can turn up. " OK, you can send a cheque - how many people have these nowadays? I couldn`t tell you were my cheque book is. But as for the bit I`ve quoted, going by what you`ve previously said, if you delay your membership renewal at the time you turn, you lose out! That`s the same as having a taxed car on the road, not using the car and renewing the tax for six months and then having to pay tax for the six months you didn`t use the car when you come to renew the tax again! Imagine the outcry if the Government did that!

Imagine the outcry if the Government did that!" eh? we have been members since 2010 and our membership has always run for 12 months from the point of renewal, if u cant attend in the 12 months that you have paid for then that's hardly the clubs fault! its not like its £100's, 12 months membership gets you 12 months membership anywhere so cant work out what the problem is, we have never been asked to pay for months that our membership has lapsed

July you tax it and are able to use it, but the tax is one fixed rate for everyone that lasts at most 12 months

Unless you don't have a bank account too

"people are quibbling over very little money, its mad how ranty people get over £15 a year, its less than 5p a day throughout the year " £15 is a small amount for a couple compared to what some clubs charge a single male though I can see £15+£20 adds up for some it might bring fresh members in if there was a discount for the night you join its only a suggestion mind.

So, if we join in Jan2015, visit a cpl of times in 2015, and then dont go back until 2017, are we gonna have to pay for the membership in between?

Perhaps now you can see my point!!! Better to not bother until the 12 months of membership has lapsed

"as far as we are aware you get 12 months membership from when you pay it, if you pay on 18/11/2014 then it expires on the 17/11/2015, if you then don't get back to renew till 20/12/2015 for example, then it expires a year later on 19/12/2016! this is how it has always worked for us " That's the way guarantees work too -

" No, your initial year membership will have expired that's all. You'll renew in 2017 and that will be valid until January 2018 Other months are available. Its done by the month you join

But if that's the case, you haven't been attending the club so you haven't been paying the entry fee that other people have. You've saved that money
