Good luck! I hope you get some joy, I'll be the same boat in a few weeks. Wanted to go last week but work pressure blew that out.

You really don't need a chaperone. Just look on it as a chilled out spa day and you'll feel less nervous. Anything else that may happen is just a bonus

It's just a big spa venue (pool, hot tubs etc) and people socialising, chilling out and strolling around in towels or naked. There's really nothing to worry about.

I was having this debate with someone just t'other day. I had a preconception that you had to walk around naked all day (not a pretty sight with me!) but they said that's just mainly the spa areas, ie in the pool, sauna, hot tubs etc (no swimming costumes!).

Walking around the general facilities many use towels or robes.

Or so I hear, I'm still awaiting my first time... Can anyone confirm ?

Were exactly the same boat, thinking of going in a couple of weeks but not sure what to expect. So unless in the spa, sauna, pool you can walk around in a towel or robe? It says naturist spa but from what I've been reading naughty things do happen here? Is that you can do on your own or with others. What time do people get here as well with it opening at 10.30am? Thanks - sorry very new to all this. BTW is Kestrels Abfabs at night?

All the nice men leave at 3pm-5pm. People are generally there between 11pm and 2pm.

If someone chooses to they can be naked, wear a towel or robe. If you are lucky enough or willing you can play almost anywhere it is not frowned upon.

There are many rooms or relaxation spots where play can take place there are three rooms by the hot tub. Two are lockable. Down the stables there are three lockable rooms. In the dungeons there are open spaces. In the house there is one room which is lockable by the toilets and another which is lockable but where you can be watched.

Single females and couples have also been known to attend kestrels. In general it is a friendly civilised chilled out and relaxed place. Bring drink and lunch and if you can stay. Stay on until a fab and have a look inside the rest of the club and definitely take a look at the cinema.

We were at Kestrels on Friday. We had a great time! Everyone is friendly, couples and single guys. It is so chilled you can't help but chill! We put a review on and also the first time we went in August. Most people walk around in towels. The staff are lovely. Free tea and coffee(how nice us that!) and ice cold water fountains around. We wish it was closer but we have had two great days there.AbFabs in the night was great too. Go and enjoy. The rooms are amazing, to watch or play in.

There is a chocolate and crisps vending machine and a botles and cans of drink vending machine. If you want anything more substantial then you need to bring it with you.

There are two large fridges and write yourself labels for storing food, alcohol etc. There is a refreshments hut with hot water and the necessaries to make tea and coffee, for free. There is a microwave for warming ready meals etc.

Only a small part of the house is open during the day (Kestrals) the rest opens at 6pm when official it becomes AbFabs until Midnight on Monday to Wednesday. Kestrals guests stay on without charge to AbFabs.

Many people bring food and alcohol for the whole day and stay through to the end. There are however more fridges and free soft drink dispensers in the house available after 6pm.

You can take lunch with you - there are fridges to keep things cool and a combined microwave/grill to heat things up. Disposable plates and cutlery plus free tea and coffee. If you want to nip out pick up takeaway or food from Tesco Ashford then you can do that too.

Oh and men posting here for chaperones - 'man' up a little and stop looking for people to hold your hands!

"Thanks - do you take lunch with you?"

I'd strongly advise you to take some food. There's a vending machine with crisps / chocolate but if you want anything more substantial then take it with you. There's a microwave and fridges to keep your food / drink in. Chilling naked in a swimming pool and rampant sex make you hungry

As for what you wear - yes, most people wander around in a towel / robe or sarong.
