Following the success of phukt which is aimed at lovers of dance music, I'm interested to know whether there would be the same level of interest in a rock based club night ... given the amount of folks who seem to list rock tracks whenever a 'favourite songs to have sex to' thread appears I reckon it's got to be a winner!?

Anti-Christ in London is a goth/metal/industrial club complete with live bands and 3 different rooms of music which also has a decent dungeon and couples room. It has quite a strict dress code not dissimilar to Torture Garden but is by far our favourite night out.

There seems to be quite a bit of interest in this from both ends of the country. Obviously not everybody would be able to travel hundreds of miles for what sounds like an awesome event. Coming from Derby I am obviously biased, but maybe the Midlands sounds like a good starting point OP ?

I would like to put my name down as dj

I have a full rig and a cpl a thousand tracks to play happy to travel

Have been been trying for years to get this off the ground so im more then up for it

But failing that, we're off the Rock and Blues weekend at Butlins Skegness w/e 25th Jan. Just need to find some swingers there !!

We have 6 possible venues and the first confirmed date

We are going to _tasia in west Bromwich on Saturday 29th August

Let us know if you are up for coming to party

From experience bands in clubs don't work. People go to clubs to boogie/ pull and get pissed. Stick a band on and it unsettles the vibe.

Stick to a DJ. Or have a band night, don't mix the two though.

Wasn't a confusion issue. I'm also from rock club/ band background and know how it works up 'here', from both sides. Stick a band on people won't watch the band. They just want the band out the way so they can get 'their seats', claim their space or whatever and boogie on down. Seen it so many times. Your experience may be different; certainly doesn't work in Scotland.

Ps I agree with our friend above.... Not worth putting a band on...we can go to a 'normal' gig for that...

A night of metal, leather, Newrocks, n sex with like minded people sounds awesome and tbh we would make a weekend of it and travel almost anywhere in the UK to attend such an event.

Firstly Saturday at Xtasia is couples and single female

But we going to take the event to other clubs across the UK and if we find that there is a big call at Xtasia to have single guys then we could have another night
