village between York and Hull

We go to many different clubs and there is always a mixed age range except at one. MrsH likes guys younger guys but that does not stop us socialising and having a good night. Fat, Thin, Young, Old, who are we to judge. Youtopia is the only club we have been to where there are are no youger people but it is still a great club and those that do go certainly enjoy it. And atthe end of the day we will all be old one day... well I nearly am but MrsH has a few years yet!

I've seen plenty in their 40's and 50's with the same attitude.

Age is no definer of manners, respect or behaviour.

There are arseholes and idiots of all ages.

I always have loads of fun at a club even though I'm probably often one of the youngest in there at 25....

But is that anymore offensive than the generalisation in your opening post?

Like everything involved in this lifestyle people have preferences. If age isn't a preference then why are there options to both state the preferred ages you're looking for and also prevent those outside those ages from contacting you?

In clubs you have no control over the breakdown of ages of clientele. It's pot luck. Even on nights promoted as 'under 40's' it's unlikely a club will prevent visitors of any age from attending - often it seems billing a night as such attracts older visitors looking for younger company.

A review using the words you described is disrespectful, yes. But would a perfectly polite review from a mid-twentys couple, stating that the majority of attendees were older and as such they had not enjoyed their visit not be honest and open feedback? Should they have to keep quiet for fear of offending someone, or be as entitled as an older couple to comment should the club be full of younger swingers who showed no interest in them, due to personal preferences?

The difference is in the language used. But the sentiment remains the same, regardless.

Clubs are for all ages. And all ages are entitled to their preferences and opinions, and to express them in reviews.
