Had some very busy nights in there and the odd quiet one.

Never had a bad night which speaks volumes.

Yup, although Single Females can get in. Quite nice, but overates itself, IMHO. Not that big, but very good, discrete location.

Perhaps they are losing members....??

It's changed to couples only. There is half price membership at the moment.

We love the club but it was so quiet when we went on Friday about 6 -8 couples and everyone seemed to be about soft swing even with each other!

But it's such a lovely club that it's worth going just for a sexy place to play with each other and if there happens to be a couple who actually wants a bit if fun even better!

The club in the past has always done well when its had good hosts running the venue. There is nothing wrong with the actual venue, and the club going all couples only all the time, probably isn't a bad move, as its a) the only one doing this currently in the UK and b) Was never that busy on a Friday anyway.

While we know mixed nights are very popular and we enjoy them ourselves at venues where people know how to behave, believe or not a huge percentage of the swinging population only want to swing with other couples - a bizarre concept for some single men to get their head around it seems and actually is the original definition of the word swinging.

We just think the owner should sell the venue or hand it over to someone who really wants to run it properly, then it will no doubt have a return to its former days. There were such grand plans to improve on what was already there in the past, few of which ever failed to materialise so give it to someone with some vision and see it rise.

This! I (shel) met you there in the good old days and remember when the club was packed and the atmosphere was amazing. It's got such a bad rep now it's a shame as it is without doubt the club with the nicest surroundings in the area, just a shame it's lost it's sexy appeal it really needs a complete shake up with it's own forum again and lots of events and promotions that can get the word out. The website is out dated and not changed in the past 10 yrs. pointless having such sumptuous surroundings if they are not used.

We went (and left a fairly comprehensive review).

Its clear the owner has a passion for the club but the people he has left in charge of the day to day running and hosting of the events really don't seem to give much of a toss (if im honest). The night we went seemed to be VERY quiet for such a large club and the size exasperates these issues.

The raw materials are there to make a very good club if they could add some variation in the play rooms/areas, get a proper (and better DJ), put some better hosts in charge and not treat the web side of things like its insignificant then it could be a top club (again) but as it stands right now I'm not sure it would really be on anyone's "must visit" lists especially as there is The Vanilla alternative offering the same but better (by all accounts).

Club scene is a very vibrant competitive market now and you feel that clubs unwilling to change to improve might not survive.

With many clubs in the area all offering excellent value night outs, how long can one with such a narrow view and offering survive ? only time will tell.

We did attend before the quite large decline the club has seen since January (by all accounts) but even when we went it was very quiet.

Remember only a year ago the crowds a rave party would draw. Absolutely love Libs in it's pomp. We've made the decision not to go tonight which is a shame but a £100 night is a lot to spend with the risks of small numbers in attendance x

It is a lot of money and also for us we don't get many opportunities to get out together so have to choose carefully. I think if there was an organised event where we knew there would be a lot of people attending we'd like to go again, but otherwise not for now. People we met the last time said the SDC nights held there were good.

We went last night and must say we did enjoy the 'couples only' atmosphere, so I am sure this will not suit all people....especially single guys! But we found because of this rule atmosphere was very relaxed....the festival was well planned and a great bbq....top marks to the staff for putting on such a good event.

I don't have any problem with the couples only rule. I do if there are only 4 couples there and a couple of 'just met' mismatched couples.

We have been three times in the last 9 months and has never been busy, two of those visits were before the single blokes ban came in. It's a nicely furnished place but lacks atmosphere, the bar area and dress code make feel like you are in a hotel lounge, the seating arrangement is great for privacy but not conducive to bringing people together and the music doesn't make you feel like you are in a club. It's an ideal place to make a private arranged meet and is clearly popular with a small group of fans, but it's clearly seen it's heyday so we shan't be renewing our membership, not while there are other vibrant places to go and actually meet people
