This has become an interesting topic for debate on a quiet Friday club night. Have spoke with a few single guys who have been on the club scene for a good few years on the subject of guys who, are part of a couple, wear pants instead of the standard towel. Most have said the same thing, that the pants are a warning that the guy could well be bi. Some single guys give all couples a blanket ban if the guy is wearing pants, just save any awkward moments when you get the "do you need any help with the condom" question pop up. The more colorful / tight/ shinny the pants, the more likely the guy is bi is also considered to be a general rule.

Now no one is suggesting that this is a hard and fast rule, but when guys have had bi "encounters", pants are usually worn by the partner, and so they now tend to steer clear of couples who have a pants wearing male

So, if you're a straight guy who is having trouble getting experienced single guys to go into a room with you and your partner, it may well be the pants dilema

I usually wear boxers and perceive that it marks me out as part of a couple (I am a straight male). It seems to me that the single guys are usually in towels although there are exceptions.

I've always thought it was personal taste. I like the towel, if I wore boxers/breifs I would look gay ( I have been told this lol) but i have a very small but firm ass and very skinny legs the towel hides them nicely.

Boxers on a guy can be sexy but pants or briefs as some call them aren't a good look on many men at all. And as a woman i do think a guy wearing briefs does make me inclined to perceive them as possibly having bi tendencies but not for those wearing boxers.

On reflection I'd now said wearing briefs/pants or even speedos (opposed to tight fittings boxers) looks camp on most men and this is what with me leads me towards thinking the look more likely to have bi sexual tendencies. This doesn't bother me being a woman lol but I can understand some fellas being weary of getting into a situation where some thing might be asked or attempted that they don't want to happen.

Lol this is a top post op!

I'm sure there is nothing in it, but it is fun to stop and think for a moment. I personally wear a towel, however on one occasion in a certain West Midlands club, did end up in Carls spandex boxers.... No, I'm not bi, but everyone was smiling... I don't think it was because I looked good in them!

Personally we both think shorts I clubs don't look flattering and a towel looks much better. We have however seen some who wear shorts under towels...

I really don't think it matters but it's now a conversation starter!

We both prefer to wear lacy knickers as the towel keeps falling off!! and we are both Bi so we guess it must be true!!

To be honest if we see a guy wearing the same he does move to the top of our list.

Towels, boxers or shorts are usually fine. Briefs or thongs aren't really good looks on men in my opinion but everyone has differing views. Wear what you're comfortable in is probably the best idea though.
