Hey, we are planning to go to a swinging club at some point in the next few months. We were just wondering, how do we let people down nicely if we are happy to chat but don't want to take things further?

Get to the club first, pick a suitable semi hidden vantage point and try spot them before they spot you. Then if you dont like the look of them run away to a private room and shag like porn stars, whilst they engage some other victim in conversation.

Previous advice should be taken with a large pinch of salt and tongue firmly planted in cheek

Private parties would be a better option for you if you are considering to dip your toes in the water... or at least they will offer you a safer and respectful environment to make some quality friends

In my opinion a club would be better for you. Not a private party. There's some decent clubs in your area, so look at the reviews and choose which one you would rather attend for your first time.

Then just relax and enjoy yourself.

Its very easy, if somebody asks "would you like to join us in room " you can either say " yep " or " not at the moment thanks ", or you can just move on before they ask lol.

At the point that the people you are talking to ask if you would like to play , simply say thank you for asking , but we are very new , and just want to get a feel first before playing .

This will be a perfectly acceptable way to let them down gently .

If they get arsey , just get up and have a wander and they will get the hint .

Never feel pressured to do anything you are not comfortable with , and enjoy the experience .

As above said clubs are easier not a private party as there you will find more difficult to walk away. In a good club a "no" is a "no".. polite and friendly and if some one doesn't get the hint..walk away ..99.99% get it then

There is a post in parallel to this one that makes a good read:

- Do you expect sex at Clubs? -

The main difference between a Club and a Private Party is that in a Club (in order to keep the cost down) they let in any Tom, Dick and Harry providing them with a space for their own pleasurable entertainment while a Private Organisation uses a vetting criteria to remove any pollution and also have more staff policing the party other than at the reception where would never know what truly happens in the play rooms!

Two equally enjoyable yet different scenarios hence for first timers I would advice a Private Party to gain that confidence in a safe and more controlled environment

Thanks for all the replies

In our opinion, and after reading forums, we think a club seems like a better option than a private party for our first time.

I've read the 'Do you expect sex at clubs?' post thanks, it was very interesting.

I think we will be using Gloswingers advice, that line seems less forward that just no.

Thanks :D
