So anybody who uses a private room at a club or party isn’t really a swinger?

Swinging has many takes my wife is bisexual and we soft swing so she can have sex with women. when in a club on couples night it makes no difference where we play as she's comfortable with it but on a singles night she prefers a private room as she's not comfortable putting on a show for guys to stand watching and some have been seen masturbating. isn't that why a good club has a good mix of rooms to cater for all our needs

kinky heaven

in their eyes and in their rules they can define what they want in their place.

As with everything there are many levels of swinging.

no need to label everything

Swinging is for us ! we do it our way we would not tell anyone else how to swing and would not tell a tone else how they should swing why do people say this way is right and this way is wrong it's pathetic we would not go to a club without private rooms

Ethos who's ethos not ours what a ridiculous statement

Their club. Their rules. Their opinions. Don't necessarily agree with it but from the post I don't see anything judgemental in the way they have presented it

What utter rubbish. Swinging is defined as wife swapping or partner swapping not putting on a sex show for others. It is what people are comfortable with.

just their opinion and what they are saying is they want everyone welcome in a sexual environment...even if they arent all having sex with each other.

I find it weird that in open playrooms, some still think they should have a choice of who comes into view(i.e single men)...I'm not for one minute saying people have to play with whoever is in the room..but accept thats the room they enter and as long as everyone abides by the rules, that includes couples too.

I pay to get into a club and use the facilities of the club, nothing more.

Their opinion isn't going to make the slightest bit of difference in how I conduct myself in a club

The same as I won't worry about how they play or what they class as swingers

We all have our opinions

The thing with ourplace4fun is the size of it makes it a very unique club to visit and this lends itself to the lack of private rooms, if you had someone hogging one for half the night then its a big area of the club thats suddenly out of use. We have always been fans of having private rooms in other clubs we have attended but with the white line rule in place it just "works" in ourplace4fun, this is combined with a very pro-active staff who are on hand if anyone oversteps the mark.

As for the blurb from their website, it just proves to me that people here look to take offence at anything. We have been playing in clubs before where a single guy has barged the lock (d*unk as fuck) and come right into the room and started touching Mrs C, in all our visits to op4fun no one has ever broken the white line rules with us conversely.

The swinging ethos thing, just like the many singles who only play with singles consider themselves swingers there are couples who play with couples who only consider themselves swingers, to take offence at such an innocuous comment seems a little odd, there is a pretty wide range on the definition of a swinger and im pretty sure if you put 100 "swingers" in a room almost everyone would come up with a slightly different take on swinging and what it is, the club is also one of the most inclusive (singles and couples) we have attended where everyone is treated as an equal and the men are not treated like money pinyata's as so many do.

What about the needs of guys who want to "be seen masturbating" over two women having sex?

If I wanted privacy I wouldn't go to a club at all. If I was into being watched I would be happy to visit one if I thought I wasn't going to be manhandled all evening

If that's their rule then that's fine. Even better that they publicise it too. If people don't like it then they can go to one of the many clubs that does have private rooms, or use the club to meet people and arrange some private play back at a hotel for example. Whilst I'm not much of an exhibitionist and, depending on who's around, prefer not to play in a totally open environment, I can totally understand limited space and the frustration of other guests when rooms are taken up for a long time by a small number of people.

Plenty of clubs out there have rules that might not suit everyone.

If its Vanilla alternative or liberty with their must be undressed in the play areas rules, cham's with the towel only rules etc etc.

Op4fun are just being straight up as to why there are no locked rooms and trying to justify it (where they don't need to imo).

At least no one can argue they were not forewarned, its just people getting a little OTT about someone putting forward their version of an "ethos"

Snap. I recently played in an open room & enjoyed it. However at times I like privacy.
