Amsterdam clubs

Essex.

We have spent a while researching adult fun for our first trip, mid May.

We have narrowed it down to two clubs.

Club Paradise which appears to be a good club and have everything we want close to our hotel.

The other choice is Sameplace. It gets seems to get good reviews and is meant to be different from anywhere else.

It comes down to things like dress code. Sameplace says dress sexy for the ladies. How risqué should Frisky go and can she get changed there? She doesn't want to walk the streets in a sheer minidress and heels...lol

We know there are other clubs but due to limited time we don't want to spend ages travelling. Thanks FnRx

Paradise club you can get to by bus from centraal station and is easy to get to

Times i have been is more men than couples

showboat is bit further but more couples

Both are nice in own way but paradiss has pool and showboat has more rooms which can leave open or close as you please

Sameplace i have heard lots about and never been yet funny enough but not heard anything bad about it

Thanks... Paradise sounds good to Frisky as she likes being the centre of attention and it is her birthday weekend. We may try both, one Saturday night and then the other Sunday night....

We visited Fata Morgana recently now if your looking for a club in Amsterdam we highly recommend it! Makes the clubs over here look extremely mediocre and we've been to some good clubs here but that club was something else

After a bit of searching I have only found one mention of price for paradise. In a review it said couples free entry but minimum spend on drinks €40, but that writen in 2009.

Think I may email them before we go for an up to date price...

Fata Morgana is brilliant but difficult to get to and out of.its a taxi ride each way and costs about 70-80

Euro each way.

We thought about Fata Morgana or fun4two but as we have quite a lot of stuff planned we decided to stay local to the hotel.x

In the past, I (jet) have been to Paradice, Showboat & sameplace albeit this is about 5 years ago, so somewhat out of date, though I suspect the clubs remain similar.

Paradice was a large club over several floors, with a pool, a dark room a huge circular bed and many other nooks and crannies. At that time a Thursday night was "Gang Bang" nught which would be similar to UK's Greedy Girls nights, Fridays was mixed and Saturdays was couples only. My perception of the club was it was pretty good.

Showboat was a converted houseboat woth lots of rooms and a large dance floor. It was mixed on a Saturday night, not sure about other nights and was packed. Loved the club and preferred it to Paradice.

SamePlace is a totally different type of place and many would consider it grotty compared to both the other clubs mentioned. It's basically a bar with a downstairs play area which was to say the least basic. It's somewhat seedy and in a sense thats it's attraction. IMO it's totally incomparable to any other club I've ever been in, would I go back possibly though if time was pressing I'd probably opt for Paradice or Showboat though from what I've read Fatama Morgana will be the next club in Amsterdam that I would try accompanied by my lovely partner Ruby on this occasion...

We are doing a trip on May 2nd visiting Club Monique, Fata Morgana and Fun4two, all transport and hotel included so it makes it very easy and affordable to see three of the best clubs in Europe

We went to sameplace in february and read that it was dress sexy, I decided to wear a mini dress stockings and heels (covered in a big coat for the walk there as it was by our hotel) to arrive and feel underdressed! The others there were in normal attire and one lady was even wearing a jumper!

It was just like a bar and the atmosphere wasnt great.

We had a look downstairs which had a swing and play areas but nothing like the clubs over here.

There was no fee but you have a minimum spend at the bar, think it was 30 euro if i remember rightly.

We may have just been unluckly and went on a quiet night as reviews we read were all good so hopefully you have fun and better luck than us

But Amsterdam is a beautiful City so you will definitly enjoy your stay!!

Three clubs with hotels and transport... That sounds like a great travel agent you have booked through...lol

we agree as all of above being frequent vistors to NL Best club out of town Fun4two

reasonably close to city Fata Morgana

Show Boat get a cab who knows the venue

always found it cliquey but can be very busy sat , suns can be fun we prefer thurs

overall we prefer Paradise as its very close to central 15 mins by cab max (use their cabs on website) or public transport and the agendA suits us there

NOTES Be aware of its closing times

Sameplace is a 20min walk from Dam Square

Our night out we go to Paradise then when it closes we go to Sameplace

Sameplace if it gets busy is after midnite or beyond

As above described its basically a friendly seedy bar with basement play area small ,

certainly not a full on club ,and you wouldnt enjoy a whole,evening there

though if your game "anything goes"

well it does when we go lol

We rang the taxi service on the website and we only got charged 50 euros each way but suppose it depends where in Amsterdam your staying

We are staying at the Ibis styles central station so close to Paradise and Sameplace looking at the map... Seedy is good once in a while.

Friday and Saturday nights don't usually have a dress code for couples. They have suggested arriving in street clothing and changing into a sexy outfit if you feel comfortable.

Entry is €10 and €20 minimum spend per couple... FnRx

2 clubs Fata Morgana Amsterdam friendly super clean yet extremely dirty lol changing facilities food bar and branded drinks bar all in price great facilities. We are going may bank holiday! !! Secondly Fun 4 Two near Rotterdam just a little less friendly when we arrived but that changed as the night went on and clothing came off lol the pair of them are great value for money!!

Horny as hell as the Dutch would say Diss is fine too!!
