Hi, my bf and I are thinking of staying at Chams, Darlaston overnight so he doesnt have to worry about driving back after a good night of fun and can have a few drinks as well...

But we have never done it before and just want to ask around see if there is actually a room you can book?( some say it's only a hotel nearby, and not actually on site?) and some also say the overnight is actually one of the playroom and you will need to bring your own bedding?!!

And what's the room like if it has some available to book? Any breakfast include and does the room cost include entry fee for the night? x

Anyone stayed before can help us out? xx

You can stay on site, either the deck room or downstairs, rooms are fine and a bacon butty in the morning

Newbury / London

There are also a few Premier Inns (Others available too) locally, we stay there and reception will sort you a cab back. Not expensive at all.

The room on site are ideal we use them at least once a month, with breakfast in bed !! Thou they can get booked up early so there is a travel lodge/ holiday inn not too far about a tenner in a taxi.

"You can stay on site, either the deck room or downstairs, rooms are fine and a bacon butty in the morning "

Are the room like a proper bedroom (with bed, bedding and ensuite) or just a playroom? (like one of those lockable room next to the couple room, that is just a leather bedding area?)

And How do you book it? x

The room is your own complete with ensuite wet room, tea and coffee. There is a tv too. Breakfast is brought to you in the morning. A choice of breakfast.

It is most definitely NOT a club play room. It will have fresh bedding and duvet.

You access the hotel through a 'hotel guests only door' and can park your car in a secure garage.

Entry isn't included in the room rate.

oh, that's cool x

How do you book it and does the room cost include entry fee of the club? x

And do you have you pay as you book or you can pay when you get there? x

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Another who recommends the on-site hotel rooms. Even the older rooms are equally the equivalent to Travelodge! As everyone else has said, your own proper room with en-suite wet room shower/toilet so "warm-up" showers before you go into the club telly and tea making kit (but take a drop more milk if you like plenty of cuppas in the morning!) Breakfast buttie delivered to your room at an agreed time and secure parking in the garage.

Just phone the club to book. You will have to pay when you book, payment by card. They`re usually cheaper too by the time you`ve factored in the inclusive breakfast and no need for taxis.

Norwich

Chams hotel rooms are fab if they are booked when you phone, best place to say is P/Inn Walsall Town Centre you can get the room for £29.00 Get the Taxi number from Chams as its a better deal, Chams to P/Inn is £7.00 even 5 in the morning fixed rate.

If I can`t stay at Chams I stay in the Premier Inn Jn10. It`s nearly always possible to get a fairly cheap room if you don`t book "flexible" and as long as National Rail don`t close the railway bridge it`s a quick drive along quiet roads to the club. There`s a big multi franchise shopping outlet just off Jn10 of the M6 which you pass on the way to the hotel. Don`t bother eating at the shopping outlet though as the food is barely edible!
