Hi guys, been looking into swingers clubs but there doesn't seem to be a lot down our neck of the woods (Portsmouth/Southampton) were looking for a club that does couple only events really, anyone got a club that's in this area (or in surrounding area) that they would recommend? Xx

There are actually very few (that I know of!!) The nearest seem to be either in melksham (angels) or heathrow (abfabs) also there are spas in Bournemouth and Brighton - which doesn't help you much!!!

Could try checking out the club section to see if any more are emerging

JCT2 (formerly Swinger's Junction) was closed down due to incorrect licencing. The guy who managed it opened Club Kiss but it was closed for the same reason. So there really are NO clubs in this entire area. There are a few house parties though (we don't attend but know they go on).

We go to Abfabs / Kestrels because it's the nearest to us (takes about an hour to drive from Southampton). Hampshire really is a bit of a swinger's desert!

Thanks for the info guys! We thought as much, we have googled and looked on the "clubs " section on here and the only ones we could see were the ones that have been closed down! Such a shame!

We have actually gone to paradise in Bournemouth recently to meet a couple from here, it was a great day but we wouldn't go there again unless another couple wanted to as it's quite far and is generally populated by older men, which isn't what we are looking for!

We are considering both absfabs and the vanilla alternative, as they both have great reviews, but just wanted to see if there were any closer to home first as we don't have much free time and they are both a couple of hours away.

If anyone else has any other info on either of those, or any other club that they highly reccomend the trip for do let us know!

For couples only, Bristol gardens in Brighton might be worth a look, but make sure you go after 5.30 PM at the weekend. Its a freidnly regular crowd there at those times, and the worst that can happen is that you have a great time in the spa.

Other than Abfabs on a saturday night you are a bit restricted on places nearby, but would suggest you keep your eyes open on the meets and events section on this site for parties as they are the most fun anyway.

Keep going, and meet other couples and your social circle will improve before you know it.

Another vote for Bristol gardens in Brighton. We often go for the day. The single men take over the play rooms during the day but have to leave by 5:30. So we relax in the sauna all day chatting, no hassle from the singles as they get short shrift from the management if the step out of line. Then we play all evening. Closes at 10 with an easy drive back to Southampton. Plus only £30.

We're also tempted by donky dicks in Salisbury but that has single men all evening. Owner/organiser is meant to be very strict in keeping them under control.

When the weather gets nice, Kestrels (daytime name for Abfabs) is a great place to chill out (and play) for the day. You have the lawned areas with loungers, the swimming pool, jacuzzis and indoor play areas. Take a picnic and you're set for the day!

Nothing in Southampton. I've never been to one because I'm too nervous, not in a couples relationship and because there are none. To be honest, reason for going would be pure nosiness and socialising but out of the question anyway

A daytime visit to Kestrels would be ideal for you then.. especially if you had another female to go with. You could just go and enjoy the spa aspect, take a book or mag, have a chillout day but also have a nosey at the playing that goes on. And there's nothing quite like swimming naked in a pool

Donkey Dicks is nearest to Soton yes single guys and he does ensure no trouble. .thou as with all clubs a few regulars seem to liket to introduce themselves to as many as possible. Hants pvt parties are going on as well. ..

There is a house party in bitterene once a month or so. Keep an eye in the meets section. I believe its called ninthgate or something similar. Hooe that helps

If you are prepared to travel then try the club in burnham on sea.. I forget the name but the last time I went it was great, very well run by great lady called claire. It's only 2 hours from soton and you can stay over.

The male of of DG went to donkey dicks. He really didn't enjoy the whole vibe from the place and clientele and cleanliness of the place. Also said a lot of the reviews they recieve are from there staff.

Just his opinion do you can check it out. Shame there isn't much in the south west as we're moving there in a couple of months

we would love a club that does not take an hour plus to get to from Gosport, that does couples nights, relaxed atmos.

i am near winchester and use adfabs/kestrals i feel its worth the money as i always feel safe there,

may i suggest a minibus starting in bournmouth picking up enroute , i'm sure the driver would be happy with some of the views in the back xx

I know it`s a hell of a treck for some but I used to meet a lady at Bristol, she had travelled up from Plymouth and we would end up at ....... Chameleons, Darlaston! Wwe admittedly had to stay overnight, mostly at a nearby hotel paid for by her fb but we would also stay at Chams itself. She said it was the only club she felt she could happily go to on her own and feel safe.

Personally did not like Donkey Dicks and am not rushing back. We went upstairs for a bit of fun and next thing we know surrounded by single men one of whom nigh on had his cock in L's ear! To say the moment had passed was the understatement. Single pushy men not our thing at all. Have no problem with singles as long as they wait to be invited instead of sticking a clock in the ear of your man! Never again!

We've been here in its Candygirls guise. It's a little further from where we are on the South Coast than Abfabs but we agree that it's a really nice club (although the stairs need to be taken gingerly in heels

My mistake - there's not much in it. My comment about the stairs still stands - I usually end up taking my shoes off to go up and down them. We thought it was a nice, classy venue but there's no wet area so if you like taking a swim or relaxing in a jacuzzi then abfabs is the better bet.

I've been to Kestrels (and Abfabs in the evening) and, while it was very quiet both times, I can see the appeal and would go again, especially if I could meet someone there.

Alton Sports Centre does naturists evenings every so often and I know of one couple on here that go and ask if others are going, but I have never been (too close for comfort) so I don't know if anything sexual happens.

I reckon you`re right there! Certainly not a big place by any stretch of the imagination! The one time I was going to go in and there was a group of "yoofs" having around the convenience store next door which put off. I should really be brave and go one night as it`s barely 10 miles away from me!

Your most welcome to give us a try we hold parties every other Saturday they are mixed nights we tend to get a really good mix. Single guys have to be well behaved we have up to six door staff keeping a eye on them. We are strict with them and and we find thatthe guys we get here are very nice and polite. Every club will get the odd idiot we we are on to it like a flash. And guys here do not follow you around in packs like they do in some clubs I have been to. Its a cheap night and we are 23 milkes from Southampton around 40 min. Have a read of our 613 independent club reviews and you will see we have many regulars that attend. And our 613 reviews are from 613 reviewers which means we have had 613 fabs profiles though our doors. We are the highest rated club in the south west and we are the 5th highest rated on the clubs review page. So we feel we must have thge balance right to get so many here on a Saturday night.

You need to try decantnights yes in weston super mare but book early and stop over in the harlem room need i say more, very friendly host aour clare and and asupurb buffet laid on with plenty of chocks to BYOB lockable room plenty of bathrooms and a double shower for 2 towels and shower bits provided for have to visit Ill promise you will return check them out now so not to be disapoite. Go to Kestrels on a nice warm Spring day and regard it as a spa day - that will lessen the nerves. Anything else that happens will be on your terms. I think there would be less of a feeling of 'club nerves' doing it that way. Message me if you need more info.

Anyone know of places to sunbathe naked in the Southampton area? I live in Romsey and like an all over tan but I don't like travelling too far! My garden is a shared one so I can't use that. Any ideas? Also I am a single male which seems to make it more difficult to find anywhere that is free for naturism!

BGHS is great, avoid Paradise like the plague and we just found the single men at Kestrels really off putting, none of them had any boundaries.

We don't seem to have had that issue at Kestrels. No is always no and that's the end of it. Some people might give mixed messages or be unclear about where their boundaries are - you have to make it crystal clear to some men who couldn't take a 'hint' if it smacked them in the face. I've heard BGHS isn't technically a swingers spa but that it's tolerated in the 'relaxation rooms' upstairs - and also that nudity is expected: I always wear a sarong because of body confidence issues.

I seem to remember that the far end of Eastney beach in Portsmouth was frequented by naturists... Google is your friend.
