Me and my F/B plan to visit Chams at Darlaston on a Monday bi-night and thought we might book one of their rooms and stay overnight. Someone told us you can't "entertain" in the bedrooms, in which case we'll book a hotel room. Can anyone confirm if there is such a rule, and what are people's experiences of staying overnight at the club? Grateful for advice please.

Need to know basis

I have stayed overnight once and the room was adequate. Once the club has closed down there is no easy way of going in or out so if it is allowed to entertain....it wont be the same as staying in a hotel.

If you don't want to play in the club you may as well just go for a hotel meet

We have stayed overnight. We have used our room for entertaining when the club was busy. After hours it would be difficult as the only way out is via the garage.

The rooms are adequate, and we like it as it's easy to go to bed when you've had enough.

Horses for courses as they say.

We always stay over. It's great being able to pop back to the room to freshen up and privately discuss the last encounter and the next!

At the end of the night you can just crawl off to bed rather than getting a taxi.

As for entertaining; there are plenty of private lockable rooms for that.

We like to have a lovely hotel and meal before we go clubbing and food in the morning as its 3 hours from us. We find a lot of clubs with rooms are very basic and its a special time for us as don't go clubbing a lot and like friends over to stay too .

The hotel rooms are for hotel guests only and not other patrons to join them in. There are plenty of rooms to play in within the club including 4 private ones. Damage caused to the rooms in the past lead to a change in policy about people who are not booked into the rooms not being allowed back with hotel guests.

If you're just looking for a room to take someone back to for a play meet maybe a normal hotel might suit you better.

You're spot on with this - it's great to be able to go and have a little lie down after an energetic bit of playing! (Maybe it's my age, but there are moments when I just can't cope with any omre of the excitement that Chams offers!) And the rooms are fine - especially the ones out on the terrace.

(By the way, surely it's a law that someone has to mention the bacon sandwiches for breakfast in your room in the morning?)

We love staying over at Chams and the rooms are clean and tidy and you get breakfast in bed

We're always to knackered after all afternoon and evening of playing to want to take anyone back with us lol

Ditto; we reclaim each other's bodies and sleep in each other's arms until a nice lady brings us breakfast.
