I've never been to a club before so wondered what you did with your valuables when you're playing e.g. wallet, phone, keys? I know some clubs have lockers but what do you do with the key? I don't plan on wearing underwear with pockets!

The key is normally on a rubber band that you can put round your wrist or ankle an I will be honest I've never heard of anything being stolen

All the clubs I've been to have lockers, free (some have a key deposit. I'm not a fan of rubber bands so I keep mine in a small handbag with my condoms, lube and lippy. I've never had a problem with it being lifted in a club. If you're worried, take the locker number off the key ring and put that in the locker, so if someone nicks your bag then they won't know which locker the key fits.

Bedworth

I've always used the lockers at clubs too and never had a problem. The only issue I've ever had at a club was my shoes going missing when someone accidentally packed them in with their bag and took them home. They realised when they got home and returned them the following week.

always the option of takeing the bare minimum with you to start to reduce the loss if there was an issue, but don't think there will but you never know these days thieves don't seem to have any boundrys or morals

I had some good advice, which was to leave valuables in the locker are and use a toilet bag to carry, condoms lube and a bit of cash.

I had no problems and think judging by most posts nor has anyone else.

A nice clutch bag and you will go down well.

Enjoy and have fun

Lockers are the way forward – then a little bag perhaps to wander around with with the key and other essentials !

Have to say that my faith in the community was very much reassured last week.

I was at chams Thursday evening and managed to leave my locker unlocked and wide open (well I was off for a play had raced down to get condoms ! – mind was somewhat lower than usual !)

I returned to my locker to find it open and empty - popped to bar – was happy to discover that someone had told them some Pratt (me !) had left the locker open – they had very kindly put everything in another locker – and handed over the new key – so keys wallet phone – everything all left intact and safe ! I was a somewhat happy bunny !!

So there is hope all !!

Have been to a number of different clubs and all have been as safe as houses and everyone very very aware of everyone else's security

Have found a locker open - have left my own locker open and in both cases lockers were secured and keys back at the desk - no issue

East Manchester

There are a small number of clubs who use Tupperware boxes for valuables, (Adam & eves, eccles) is the only one I know of in Manchester.

But for all the clubs I visit they all have lockers, my usual system is to empty my pockets of all valuables not needed into the boot of the car and take in with me my car keys, cash and personal necessities do that there is room in the locker for clothes etc.

The locker key is usually on an elasticated band on my ankle where it will not be s nuisance.
