Clubs up north

Looking for a club up north that's good on the weekends. Could you guys suggest from experience please.

North-West or North-East? The best place of all is Cupids in Swinton (North Manchester), closely followed by Partners in Bury and the Townhouse in Liverpool (actually just across the river in Birkenhead). In Sheffield there's la Chambre (huge) and in Leeds there's Isis. Watch out for the whippets!

Newcastle and Gateshead

and as for the actual north east.....

we have two clubs...

Vivente, which has just opened in sunderland and has gotten really good reviews so far.....

Club F, just outside Newcastle, which won some awards this year in the "sex and the city" guide as joint "club of the year" and Joint "most friendly club"

try them both if you are in the north east for a weekend....

La Chambre has a different feel on Friday and Saturday but both nights are good.

If you're going to the Yorks area then there are places to avoid. We'd suggest you visit Le Chambre in Sheffield.

We will definitely recommend La Chambre in Sheffield, especially on their theme nights. Valentines party will be a good night, and so will the masquerade night in march, last years were fantastic events.

We're thinking of travelling north this weekend cupids is favourite for us at the moment, we've been to la chambre it's lovely though just want to try somewhere new

why do people always just think of the north in terms of clubs as the north west and yorkshire.....

missing some gems in the north east... at least people from scotland who come down here are beginning to find out what nice clubs we have! and with the extra publicity of the "sex and the cities" guide... you would have thought it would finally open some minds, ears and eyes...

The OP has said they don't think they'll make it that far north, despite it being a lovely part of the country.

Is just that we are visiting friends and would love to have some fun at the same time without going too far out of our way. If we were just going for clubs then then would be fair gamed for anywhere but I'm afraid it's not the case

OK - then it's Cupids in Swinton, Partners in Bury, Adam & Eves in Eccles, No3 in Chorley and Liaisons in Rochdale. Look in the Clubs listing for reviews, but my favourite is Cupids.

Never been to cupids as yet have heard nothing but good, no3 at chorley is ok very clean! Partners is nice... The pool area is lovely. Good luck on wherever you decide
